Extremely professional, knowledgeable, agreeable company one could ever hope to deal with. Royal York did a marvellous job and we always knew we were in good hands. The crew also went far and beyond, with meticulous detail. It was a real pleasure and comfort to have our roof done by such expert service, and we are thrilled with the amazing end result, and highly recommend them.

The crew were very efficient and respectful of both us and our neighbours. We were quite impressed with how well organized they were, how quickly they got the job done (ours was complicated: chimneys to remove, rotten boards, lots of flat roof that interfaces directly with sloping shingled roof, etc. They were also able to replace some old gutters and did some fairly complex sheet metal work. Thoroughly happy with the finished result and the condition of the property when they were done; we have a lot of garden all around the house and there was no sign that they had even been there, let alone any damage.

We had to wait some time for the work to begin… understood that they had a lot of bad breaks with the weather, and know that they did their best to get to us earlier… but nonetheless, that delay was part of our experience, therefore the 9 out of 10. (If I could only take a half pint for that I would.) In the end, Pavel, one of the owners, was very thorough in making sure that all the t's were crossed and i's dotted; it was clearly very important to him that we were thoroughly satisfied with the service. Would use again.

Royal York Roofing did a great job start to finish on a tough job: 45 degree angles, multiple peaks, flat section and very poor condition shingles. Vitaliy came on site to provide the quote (other roofing companies only used satellite images to estimate) and took the time to answer all my questions without pressuring. Royal York is one of the few residential roofers who also are very comfortable with flat roofs. Despite terrible weather this fall, the team tried their best to use any good weather to make progress. Seanesta in the office made it easy for me and communicated frequently to ensure I knew their plans. The entire job took five days and the roofers were totally professional. They were on site before the sun came up, worked til the sun went down and left no mess behind. The final bill came in almost exactly on estimate. We're completely happy with the result and I would recommend Royal York without hesitation.

Loved working with Royal York! It took a while to get the job done but that is to be expected since it was rainy this summer which caused a lot of delays and they've been busy since the windstorm.

Instead of taking the 3 days they initially said it would take, they showed up with a massive crew and got it all done in a day (with just a few touches added the next day). That was a real boon for us given that we have 2 small kids who nap during the day and meant fewer disruptions for the neighbours.

The roof looks amazing! We've been through a few rains since it was re-done and so far, no more leaks!

Only small complaints are that they almost forget to put the ice shield on our front porch (only sheer luck that I looked out our bedroom window while that work was being done) and they left our back deck messy with asphalt and nails. Otherwise our property was spotless and I was really impressed with the attention they took to make sure our neighbour's driveway was kept as clear as possible during the work and cleaned up as soon as the roof was done on that side.

Anton was a real pleasure to deal with and attended to every concern immediately. When we discovered the ice shield hadn't been put up yet he right away got the workers to remove the shingles they'd placed and attended to the problem.

Superb experience - I definitely recommend them. In terms of cost, they were middle of the pack of the 5 quotes we received. I liked that they warranty the work for 10 years (not the purchaser of the work). Gave me a lot of confidence in them.

From the office staff, sales rep, to the workman on the roof, RYR delivered excellent service. They were honest, prompt, efficient, clear about what to expect and delivered against their commitment.

The cost was comparably price and includes a transferable warranty; meaning the warranty is on the roof of the house, not with us as current owners. The benefit of this is that if we sell our house, our warranty is valid for the future owners.

Bruce (sales rep) was very upfront and informative about what would be completed on our roof and I believe the work crew was very competent and skilled.

They were curtious, thorough and thoughtful. I am extremely happy with my experience with RYR. I received the recommendation to Royal York Roofing from a friend who also used them for her residential roof and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend RYR.
