Larry and his crew wired our entire ground floor renovation, upgraded our service and re-wired some very dangerous second floor wiring that was clearly done improperly (everything was on one 240V circuit), all with a very minimal impact to the finished walls and ceilings. The process was quick professional and friendly and the cost was very reasonable. I was really pleased with the work performed and the recommendations on lighting and outlet layouts during the process. I will definitely use HC Electrical in the future for any small to large projects.

I have a very old home in Toronto and the knob-and-tube needed to be removed with updated wiring to 200 amps. Larry and his team did a fantastic job. I was very pleased with the care, time and detail they took in re-wiring the home. Larry and his team made very few holes (and small ones too) to fish the wire, so as to preserve the gumwood and character of the home. They finished on-time and even came a week later to install light fixtures for me at no cost (which he was not obligated to do so). Thank you Larry! He will not rush a job or take shortcuts and the quality of their workmanship shows. His prices are very reasonable, in fact of all my quotations, he was on the low end. We bought an older home after deciding to downsize once our kids left the nest, that was 2 years ago. We finally decided to do some updates in the house and were shocked to find that there was still knob and tube wires in the house. We turned to homestars after a friend has suggested we search there for an electrician. We called a few companies, had the electricians come in and scope the work. We ended up choosing HC electrical for a few reasons. Their quotes were detailed and covered all the work that the job entailed, we asked questions and he gave answers and explained some more. Larry and his team were incredibly professional and efficient upgrading our entire house from the old knob and tube wiring. On time everyday, and very careful to care for our 100 year old plaster walls. He also installed LED potlights for us and they look great. Highly recommend his services.

After the freezing the weather we experienced last week my wife and I decided that it was absolutely time to do something about a few colder rooms in the house. Initially we were only planning on installing heated floors but we just did not have the time or budget for it. After contacting a few electricians on homestars, I was fortunate enough to get hold of Larry. Although it was a very short notice I was able to get a booking with him in the same week. We installed the heaters in the laundry room, basement and our the kids rooms. The work was completed without a hitch the same day. We are now sitting cozy and warm all thanks to great team work at HC Electrical Services.

I was pleased to see Larry and Ken show up at my house at 8am this morning, on time and punctual. I did a quick walk through with Larry and explained that the 3 way switch in the hallway was acting up. He did the troubleshooting and repaired the 3way switch. He also changed a faulty breaker in the panel - it was a 15 amp breaker. All of this work in less then 2 hours.

Called Larry on a recommendation of a friend and I'm glad I did. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and assisted me in dealing with Toronto Hydro, which in the end, was my responsibility anyway. I was not happy I had to replace the power line and meter base but I'm glad I called Larry. A very nice and professional guy and he does great work at competitive rates.

I called Larry after reading about him on homestars to come help with my electrical issue at me house. I had some outlets in my living room that would constantly trip. I called Larry and he was able to diagnose the problem right away. Larry and his team did an amazing job with the service and panel upgrade. From initial contact for estimate to turning the panel on, the whole experience was outstanding. I called couple of electricians based on their good reviews on Homestars and the experience was horrible. One of the contractor with very high rating didn't even return my call, another one said they are too busy to take the job, the third one asked me to send picture to provide an estimate. Larry answered the call right away and agreed to drop by to provide an estimate. He explained what needed to be done and the whole process of getting permit from hydro, getting ESA inspection done and power disconnect/reconnect by hydro. Couple of days prior to the actual work, he called me to give reminder. On the day of the job, Larry and two crews showed up before 8 am. They started prep work prior to hydro disconnecting the power. After the power was disconnected, they started changing old panel, replaced the old power line coming to the house with new mast and meter socket. The ESA inspector came and approved the work in the form of connection authorization (required by hydro to turn the power on). Larry and his crews cleaned up the work area and took away all old panels, pipe, wire and everything. Larry paid attention to very minor details like filling up the void with spray foam created after removal of the old pipe carrying power line. He is the best contractor I have ever come across.
