Knob & tube removal, panel upgrade, service relocation, Cat 6
Major electrical work is not something you want to put in the hands of just anyone, although it might feel that way when you are meeting with various companies in hopes of finding that right combination of competence, customer service, and competitive pricing. HC Electrical gets top grades across the board! Our job wasn't easy and we were doing more than just knob & tube removal. We needed to relocate our service line to make way for a future addition to the house, we also wanted to upgrade to a 200 amp service, and run Cat 6 cable through the entire house.
Larry knew his stuff and he was never daunted, whatever the situation. Our home is older and had been through renovations by previous owners and that meant a number of surprises, but Larry was able to identify and deal with those problems.
Overall, I was really impressed with his efficiency and his knowledge. Beyond that, I always felt that he was being straight with us and that sense of trust is invaluable when you embark on such an extensive (and expensive) job. Yes, this type of work doesn't come cheap, but after having received quotes from other companies, we were convinced that HC Electrical was competitively priced.
Even after his job was completed, he still returned my calls when I had questions regarding a subsequent stage of our renovations that involved some electrical work. Larry even sent one of his guys to have a look at the work our general contractor did when we expressed some concerns about it and he was able to identify a problem and fix it on the spot for us.
From now on, when we need electrical work done, we will be calling HC Electrical!
