Jim was the constant voice of reason on a difficult job involving re-footing a supporting column and fixing the stone arch at the entrance to our Victorian house. Excellent workmanship and professionalism. Jim and his team were reliable and performed above expectations. Reach worked with a very difficult design and completed it exactly as requested. The work was necessary so other trades could places structural elements on the block/brick work completed. Jim completed the work on-time and allowed us to meet our construction schedule. Construction site was always kept clean and above all safe. This is not the first time we work with Jim and hopefully not the last time we work together.

Jim and his crew are nothing short of miracle workers when it comes to historic restoration. I recently purchased an old Victorian semi that had fallen far from its former grandeur. The brick veneer facade was crumbling away, and I thought a complete tear down and rebuild with new brick would be my only option. In an attempt to salvage the historic look, I called Jim and I'm so glad I did.

With over 300 bricks to replace, full tuck pointing and new window ledges required, it was no easy task to mix old and new to create a look that appears original to the house. Their patience and artistry restored my house, they were always on time and very pleasant to deal with. They also made sure my neighbours were informed and happy. In addition, Jim made recommendations that ultimately took money out of their pockets and into my window company's, because that would result in a better finished product for me. I wouldn't hesitate to use Reach Restoration again or recommend them to others.

Jim and his crew were courteous and on time.We liked his positive attitude and admired his interpersonal skills. The daily and final cleanup were excellent. Although he was not the lowest bidder, it was worth the cost for the quality of the job.We are very happy with the work that they did and we highly recommend Reach Restoration.

Jim and his guys (Wayne & Justin) did a great job on my 1920's Leslieville home repointing a number of mortar joints. His crew was clean and courteous. The new mortar joints were matched perfectly! I would highly recommend Reach Restoration to anyone looking for good quality workmanship at a reasonable price.

The record-breaking rain of last month managed to get through the mortar of my 120-year-old six-plex and I needed it fixed quickly. Indeed, the entire building was in need of pointing but I had been procrastinating.

I left messages with several masonry contractors but most did not call me back. Jim called me the next day, and although he was too busy to take on the job right away he was in the neighbourhood and said that he would drop by and do an estimate. He was able to identify the most serious issue and did an emergency repair on the spot for a price which (under the circumstances) seemed very reasonable. I'll have him back to do the rest of the building shortly.

I have used Reach Restoration on 3 major jobs: cementing my garage floor; brick pointing and painting the house exterior. The most recent was to remove a rotten wooden deck, shore up house foundation, and lay a paver deck. Jim and his crew are professionals with creative, long-lasting solutions. They finish on time and come within budget. The bonus is that they are courteous and friendly.

Our chimney needed a rebuild and Jim and his team did the job. Jim is responsive, helpful, and is willing to take the time to walk you through the steps before doing the work. His price is a little steeper than some others, but that is a reflection of the quality of the work and extra bit of attention to details.

Jim was great all the way around. From the quick response to the immaculate cleanup, work and advice! We had old brick that someone had patched up with cement and drawn in with paint! This all had to be ground out and then the bricks behind had to be repaired. Would not hesitate to use again and definitely worth the price.
