Chimney rebuild and other repairs
Our chimney needed a rebuild and Jim and his team did the job. Jim is responsive, helpful, and is willing to take the time to walk you through the steps before doing the work. His price is a little steeper than some others, but that is a reflection of the quality of the work and extra bit of attention to details.
The footprint of our house is roughly 1500 square feet and we had the entire roof replaced with new shingles. Tom is great to work with, responsive, and from a pricing perspective was very reasonable. He was very flexible in the work we wanted done. For example, although he didn't typically use synthetic materials for the underlayment, he was happy to use it for our house at our request. The one criticism I would have is with respect to their experience. It seems that they have done a lot of jobs (at least from what I can see on homestars given the number of reviews), but I got the impression it was the first time they used synthetic underlayment when they used it on our house. Nonetheless, it appears that the job was done well and done quickly. Thanks guys! I really appreciate the work!
Hey Vincent thank you for the review it was great doing business with you too. When using synthetic paper verses tar paper is no difference in installing it correctly. The benefit in using the synthetic paper actually covers more square footage quicker then the regular tar paper.

Caulking, concrete sealing, eavestrough repair
After reading all the great reviews, we got a quote from Reach Restoration to do exterior caulking and other minor repairs on our house. After meeting Jim in person and going over the project, we knew we could trust him and would enjoy working with him. Jim and Chris did the work - they were professional, hardworking, neat and clearly took pride in doing a good job. As mentioned in other reviews, the communication was great -- Jim kept us well-informed before and throughout the week it took to complete the work. We highly recommend Reach Restoration and look forward to working with Jim and his crew again in the future.
The booking process was great: they were flexible with pick-up locations, they provided moving materials (packing paper, boxes, tape, labels, etc.), and their pricing seemed more than fair to me. Most of the people working at their call centre are quite knowledgeable and helpful - one of the individuals that I was forced to deal with did not speak English very well and seemed new to the company so was a bit difficult to deal with. On moving day, of the three people that came, Keith was by far the hardest working and most helpful. Another, Chad, was quite good as well. The third individual seemed like he didn't want to be there and didn't do much to hide that fact (which is fine, since I don't always want to be at work and he did not seem 100% health-wise - but it certainly isn't something I as a customer want to deal with). Overall, they were efficient, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with (very honest with the time spent, and didn't try to tag us with things like fuel surcharges, extra costs for an extra pickup, etc.). I would recommend them so long as you confirm with them before-hand that they can get an experienced crew in there.

Thank you for your review. Sorry about the person in the office that you were speaking with. He is our accountant that picks up overflow calls when the other representatives are on the phone. On the same note, he has been with our company for the past 2 years. After speaking with Keith, he did advise me that the other worker (Chris) that day wasn't feeling the best and believe he was getting a head cold. I did not know that the day of the move. All our crews are full time workers of our company and are skilled movers. I guess that not feeling so well that day made you think that he wasn't a skilled worker. The guy from Dial One was courteous, professional, and helpful. He showed me multiple tips on keeping the furnace/ventilation system running well. He cleaned up very well after all the work was done. They provide a good service and I would recommend them to others.
