After moving into an older townhouse two years ago, I found my bedroom over the garage always cold in winter. After getting a couple of estimates, I choose Envirotech Insulation. Mark provided a detailed estimate within a day of his visit, and answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. His technicians arrived on time, set up and cleaned up after the job was complete all within the timelines set out. The work was less invasive and cost less than other estimates. I highly recommend this company.

I chose Envirotech Insulation because Mark was prompt and punctual when he came to provide the estimate. He also emailed a written quote providing details of the work and materials and was responsive to questions.

Mark's team called on the day and indicated they could come out earlier than expected which worked well for me. His team were courteous, polite and thorough in completing the job. They were honest and let me know that they did not end up using all the baffles that had been indicated in the quote and the amount for the those would be deducted from the final bill. Happy with the work performed!

Great value and honest workmanship. We got several quotes for insulating and properly ventilating a drafty 3rd floor attic in our old home in Cabbagetown that has been causing ice dams on the roof. Mark came out to take a look and was very comprehensive in explaining to us our options and how much everything would cost, item by item, and was straightforward to cut out things he felt we didn't need that others had advised - and he explained why. When the crew arrived (on the day after a storm), they found that the pot lights were already in insulated housing (saving us some bucks) but that a squirrel had chewed through a few wires, which Charlie fixed with some junction boxes. They were fast and efficient and cleaned up really well afterwards. Charlie even squeezed his body through the tiny access door instead of cutting a hole in the drywall, saving us more money afterwards. The cost was very fair for all the work they did and our tenants already feel a difference. Also, they connected us with a great roofer (DUNLOP) who installed a bathroom vent that was required. Very pleasant experience with people who truly seem to enjoy their work and take pride in it, as they should! Highly recommend both companies!!

We called Mark to give us a price on insulating our roof to R 50, he said he would arrive at 11 am, he was there at 10-55am, he insulated our house one week later, his crew were efficient, they took photos of their job and cleaned up to perfection, we felt a difference in our home immediately, thanks Mark and crew for such a pleasant experience.

I have been living in my house for 8 years and just always assumed that the room over the garage would naturally be colder. As you walked up the stairs to the bedrooms there was always a marked change in temperature and my heating/cooling just never seemed to regulate the whole house properly. My neighbours were having their garage insulated and I agreed to get mine done too and take advantage of a 'group' discount. Best money spent!! Mark and his crew were efficient and punctual and though they could only get half my garage done the first day I could already feel the difference.
I previously kept my thermostat at 24C in the day to have the place just comfortable and 16C overnight which was freezing! Since the insulation the house is toasty at 20/21 which I would have formally found insane! Even with the low overnight setting the house is temperate and I used my AC less in the summer too. I'm yet to calculate the savings but quite sure it will pay for itself in no time. I'm loving not having cold spots in certain rooms and saving energy!

This past summer, I contacted 3 insulation companies initially and after having a detailed discussion with Mark Connor at my home, I chose Environtech Insul' Services. He answered all my questions, made suggestions and gave me what I thought was a fair quote.
The 2 man crew arrived at 8 am sharp this past October on a weekday. I couldn't have asked for a better team. They were very polite, knowledgeable and professional. They let me know everything they were doing ahead of time.
Everyone I met from Environtech was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I have since recommended them to one of my neighbours.

No access to attic above kitchen ceiling and lots of cold air entering through pot lights. One company wanted $7,500. plus tax to remove the roof and apply foam. Other companies said they couldn't deal with a no-access area. Finally, Envirotech came out, gave a quote and completed the work. We now have a warm kitchen. Small opening created in ceiling drywall. I was able to get up there and see the finished work. Drywall was patched and is just waiting for me to sand and paint. No fuss or dust, very tidy and efficient.

Moving into an older home (32 years of age) meant many upgrades needed to be done. Our second floor always felt much colder than the main floor in the winter months, especially in my 2-year-old son's room that's near the garage. With another baby coming in the spring, we wanted consistent comfort all year round.
Mark and his team were efficient, considerate and worked in a timely manner. Thanks for doing great work!

Envirotech is a company very easy to deal with, the initial consultation was arranged by e-mail, the quote was detailed and the date set for the job was set very accommodating for my schedule. The crew was very punctual and the job was done swiftly and with care regarding out home. So far the winter was not very harsh, but we do notice that the upstairs does not get cold that quickly anymore.

We were very pleased to have Mark and his team complete the installation of electrical work we needed. They were very professional from start to finish. They were on time the day that was scheduled, started working immediately, completed everything as expected and the cleanup was fantastic. We would recommend them to everyone.
