I went to Mr. Roof Repair with bathroom exhaust fan issue that needed to be fixed before we could add any insulation to the attic of the house. The bathroom exhaust fan had been venting into the attic for years and it was creating a potential for mold growth in the attic. I had been told by the insulation company that this would be a difficult fix because of the height and the incline of the roof, but when I call Mr. Roof Repair, they said it would not be a problem. Within a matter of days, they had fixed the exhaust to vent properly through the roof, and the work was done well within the timeline that was needed for the attic insulation work to begin. I'm very happy with their work and customer service.

Hi asheehan... Bathroom exhaust fans venting directly into the attic is one of the most common issues we find when performing assessments. Ontario Building Code does not mandate it, so roofers and home builders are not inclined to recommend or work beyond the bare minimum, legal requirements. As well, because of the dismissive nature of client responsibility in the roofing industry, most roofers are not educated on assessing these issues and offering solutions. Glad we could help! Thanks for this. Cheers!
