Nev and company were thoroughly prfessioanl in thier diagnosis and in the work they did for us. Nev made us feel very comfortable that he was very knowledgable. They did the work when it was convenient for us and I felt gave us good value for money. Of course, the real test for this kind of work will be if we never get a recurrence but at this stage I would without hesitation recommend them to any one with this kind of problem.

Our basement was flooded and we did not have insurance we called a number of companies
and could not afford to get the basement cleaned. After a week of trying to deal with it ourselves
we heard about Accu-Star we call them and made an appointment. Liz came over and explained to us in detail what needed to happen and gave us an estimate and was able to offer financing.
Once we agreed to the estimate she was able to get a crew to our house the next day. The crew worked long days and had all of the mold and sewer backup removed and the basement demolished and cleaned up in three days. Now we can breath easy in our home we are so grateful to Liz and the Accu-Star team.

From the moment I spoke with Nev on the phone as I thought there might be asbestos in the home, knew I'd made the right choice in calling his company. He came around within half a day, and conducted tests (I chose to have even more tests performed than he recommended - paranoia ...!). We found asbestos in the vinyl floor backing - Type 1. And we discovered a small area of mold that needed to be treated. Nev does not use scare tactics which I appreciated - I was scared enough on my own! His ability to calm me down when I was bouncing off the walls was remarkable - I was ready to sell my house after having just bought it! Special mention must also be made about his team - the gentlemen who came round to perform the asbestos removal (sorry forgot their names), who were calm, matter of fact and efficient and arrived on time. Jen who runs the office is an absolute delight - efficient, friendly, bubbly and just an overall great person to deal with!

I called Accu-star to obtain a quote for removing or containing an exposed potential asbestos wrapped pipe. Nev came right away to take a look but found that it wasn't in fact asbestos rather a painted metal pipe and took the time to explain what an asbestos wrapped pipe would look and feel like. We also had a recent water leak in our basement and were concerned about potential mold. He didn't seem concerned unless we expose the mold - he took the time to explain where he believed mold exists but assured us it was dead, and that it was of no concern unless disturbed. Thank you Nev for being so honest and forthcoming!

We were ready to do a renovation to our kitchen and needed a company to do the demo. We met with Ryan from Accu-Star who was able to fit us into his busy schedule he answered all of our questions and was able to give us a very competitive quote. The work was done on schedule and below the estimate. The crew was very knowledgeable and was on time when arriving I would highly recommend this company.

Nev's crews were very professianal and took extrem care and cautions when removing all my personal items from the mold contaminated areas Nev was excellent when doing the quote he ansewered all my questions with out hesitation we had 5 other companys in but Accu-Star was the best if I ever have anymore mold problems regaurdless I would call Accu-Star in a heatbeat.

We contacts the company as soon as we were told we had asbestos . Nev came to the house and checked the room and emailed a very detailed report. Steve and Tyler came into our home and started by protecting it. After putting up drapes to protect the rest of the house they proceeded to remove all the questionable material. They clearly know their jobs and are proud of the work they do. 48 hours after they arrived, they were gone. They did not leave anything for us to clean up or dispose of. The room smells clean, no musty smell, no chemical smell, it was usable as soon as we walked in. We are very satisfied that an issue which was very dangerous to us was resolved quickly and reasonably! Thank you so much!

Couldn't ask for a better experience considering how devastated we were when we discovered the mold. And it started right from the initial meeting with Nev from Accu-Star Environmental Inc. He arrived on time, thoroughly inspected all possible areas that may have been contaminated upstairs and down and outside, and explained exactly what he was doing at all times. After over an hour he found what eventually proved to be the cause of our problem - when the cabinet installers put up the kitchen cabinets, they searched for studs by hammering a nail into the wall until they found wood. Well, they found a drain pipe on one of these hunts and caused a small drip to exist for many years, hidden in the wall. We arranged a date for mold removal and a team of Steve, Jeff, and Tyler showed up, again exactly on time. They were very professional and by the end of the day the job was complete - rooms isolated with plastic, zippered temporary doors, floor protection, air flow machines to isolate mold areas, moldy drywall removed and bagged, and wood disinfected and painted with mold killing paint. A human friendly disinfectant fog was also blown throughout the house. Then the 2 UV air machines that they had installed upstairs and down were left for 2 days to kill any airborne spores from the rest of the house. Then they did a final cleanup. Every one on the team was very friendly, and patiently answered our many questions. In the end, we feel confident that our problem has been solved and we feel completely safe again in our home. The Accu Star team is extremely professional, friendly, punctual, helpful and thorough. They worked with me to meet my needs and budget. Nev came out to my residence on two occasions to inspect the site and recommend the best solution. He did not hesitate to do so even though I had made some changes to the work site after his first visit.
Jen worked very hard to accommodate my need to get the job done ASAP. She worked her magic and scheduled the job within two days of contract agreement rather than the week later appointment I was initially given. I very much enjoyed my phone conversations with her! (Who knows Jen, maybe we can do Cuba together one day

Jeff and Taylor were punctual and beyond thorough! They actually did extra work that was not part of the contract to ensure the mold issue was 100% detected and cleaned from all areas of the basement. They also accommodated my request for a second air purifying machine on the main level of the house. They did an excellent job with the decontamination and clean up of the work area, plus my foyer as they walked back and forth through it to get to the basement.
I can not say enough about the quality of the work and the clear pride in it!

It's very difficult to build and maintain a positive reputation...these guys have high standards and do not sacrifice when it comes to it! They've indeed earned this reputation!
