Replaced shingles on roof - good work, lacklustre clean up
We hired Professional Roofers to replace our roof after comparing against a number of other roofers. Sebastien came out to meet us and answered all of the questions we had (and we had a very exhaustive list). He was also very professional and responsive in addressing our inquiries by cellphone. with regards to the installation itself, the crew arrived early on both days and did a great job in getting things done to ensure everything was completed on time.
The reason why I am rating them 8 out of 10 as opposed to anything greater is that their clean up left much to be desired. The crew left the work site after doing a light clean up. I say light clean up because when I walked the perimeter of the house, I collected over 2 dozen nails on the ground. Luckily, the supervisor came later that day to inspect the work and he volunteered to walk with me around my house to collect any errant nails with his magnetic sweeper. We collected another 30+ nails with that. He apologized for their carelessness and took some photos of all the nails collected, assuring me that head office would be informed of this. Overall, we are still quite pleased with their work in spite of these hiccups.
