Kris's Painting and Popcorn Removal

Our condo walls were in a bad shape due to damages caused by a former tenant. Kris and his team transformed our condo into a beautiful new place. The paint color that Kris recommended was perfect. They were professional, clean and accommodating to our schedule and finished the job very quickly with a reasonable price. We will definitely contact Kris for any future paint jobs and recommend him to our friends and family.

My family and I have lived in a 1 year old home in Ajax when we thought it was time to paint over the builders paint. We had 3 paint contractors come to give us qoutes witch we found on home stars. Kris was the last painter to come in. The first 2 painters were in and out within 10 mins. Kris had spent almost an hour with us. He answered all of our questions and concerns plus gave us many ideas. We ended up hiring Kris and his team. He stayed true to his word on keeping the house clean by the time they left every night and on timing. Everything went exactly the way that Kris had said it would. I remember Kris had said to me that he would turn my house into a home and he couldn't have said it better. We will be using Kris to paint the ext. of our home next spring. I would also like to thank home stars for this great site for us home owners.

Kris did an awesome job painting the main floor of my home. He also did some taping/plaster work. His workmanship was excellent, but the thing that impressed me the most was his service-oriented approach to the job. He was willing to work around my schedule to make sure certain parts were done on time for other renovation work I was doing, and was always happy to come back to do touchups where needed. Suffice to say he went above and beyond the scope of the agreed work to make sure we were happy.

Working with Kris made the whole process stress-free. Well deserved 10 and all around great guy.

Kris' service was phenomenal. He made excellent suggestions and completed the work in an expeditious fashion with compromising quality. Every person who walks into my house loves the color and tries to imitate it, but no one can match the technique and quality of Kris and his staff's work. Can't wait to use Kris on the next house.

Kris arrived ready to paint never having seen the place (we had sent a floor plan). He was lovely to work with, completed the job ahead of schedule and the cost matched up to the estimate. He was great with making suggestions and did a fabulous job covering up the mistakes a previous painter had left (like paint on the concrete ceiling). I would absolutely recommend Kris to anyone.

After finding Kris here on Homestars he told me that he works very hard to maintain his 10 rating. He was good to his word and I also rate his work a perfect 10. I had a small bathroom ceiling repair due to an improperly installed sky light. He came back several times to make sure the repair and painting was just right. Most others will try and rush through a small job because it is not cost effective. Not Kris. He works for not only this job but the next one too. I would not hesitate to call him back or refer him.

Kris was great. When Kris first came to my home for my quote he gave me a many ideas and a clear view on how he would do all the work. He was very helpful in our colour selections. There were many nail holes and peeling paint around most windows. By the time Kris was done with our place it looked new again. I would say if you need a great paint job you must try Kris out.

Four days before our moving day, I decide to start contacting painters. Yes, I leave things to the last minute! Kris was the only one that would commit to the job and promised to have it done before our moving day. The house, with the exception of the basement, needed to be painted and holes left in the walls from pictures, etc. to be patched. Kris and Peter did a phenomenal job that far exceeded our expectations. They were fast, clean, and got the job done with a day to spare! I would recommend Kris and his team to anyone. We’ll definitely have them back once our basement renovations are complete. Price and quality surpassed painters previously used.

After examining scope of work, Kris provided the most reasonable quote to paint the exterior of the house, replace some wood and restore lattice detail on lower porch.
Kris and Peter started work exactly as promised but through sheer competence finished a day earlier than planned.
Their workmanship is amazing and the house looks like new.
