Our roof was started 1 May 2005 and finished about 7 weeks later. Most of this time we only had the roofing boards as they started tearing it off the first day. They were here about 5 or 6 hours a day. Left our yard in a mess every day. We were forced to clean up or let fly over the neighbourhood. We had containers in the attic to catch the leaks all of this time. The installer walked of the job half way through as I asked him to take down the chimneys that are no longer being used which we would pay extra. When he took down the back chimney it "fell" on our cement deck cracking it and sinking it about 3 inches. I cancelled the check. He walked. I was convinced to let him back on the job. He did finish it. The day before the supervisor was to visit to get the check. The roof leaked. They did come back to fix it several weeks later. Feb of 2008 the roof leaked again. I called the manufacturer to start the claim. First week of June they were supposed to be here to fix roof??? Waiting for this year to see...
