WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I purchased a couch from Flik and Company 8 weeks ago and today discovered it hadn't been built yet!!!!
Not once did Stephan call me to explain the situation or offer any alternatives.
Stephan is the least accesible store owner I have ever dealt with. Not only were my phone calls and e-mails left un-returned, he is rarely at his own store during the business hours listed on his website.
I am baffled that he is still in business.

I have to say a couple of things ...actually a lot more then you can imagine...the sofa was ordered from Tom the weekend of July 13th - within a week he assumed it would be done...I alerted him via email that his fabric was out of stock. Everyother day Tom called - probably 10 times a day...we emailed back and forth constantly and also conversed as much.. A refund was provided back to him in cash when the supplier alerted me that the fabric was still not in stock - we had this issue with 3 other customers in the same fabric...oddly enough - I know I am responsible for customer service - but one of the questions all business owners raise is how are we responsible for our service issues? How is it that we can be the ones that hold the responsibility when our suppliers do not supply us? As far as my not being in the store...there is a lot of reasons that I really do not need to explain - I can assure you that Tom would not want to be in my shoes with the problems we have had personally...the one thing I do need to add is that I am a small business owner and I am a one man show - with all that comes the fact that - my family could have health issues, I could be sick, I could be dealing with some huge catastrophe - but it is my personal life and as a small business owner - my personal life does and always will take priority over my store...I am sorry that Tom did not get his couch - he had other options...none of which he discussed on this blog - but I could cut and paste the numerous emails back and forth in which this could have ended amicably.
