Coretemp Heating and Air

We've had our Rinnai tankless water heater for 2.5 years now. It's recently been cutting out on us. Richard at CoreTemp was very skilled at guiding me to pre-assess the problem over the phone. Service was good and courteous.

Decided on working with Richard at Coretemp after interviewing several companies. Of all he was most straight forward, personable and transparent to deal with. We went with a Lennox multi-stage system after discussing the options. No regrets. It's everything Richard promised it would be and more. Cost of operations is surprisingly low. You won't go wrong with Coretemp. Great sales and after sales service.

We have been extremely satisfied with Richard's initial recommendation of a tankless system and furnace and continue to use Coretemp as our maintenance providers. The CoreTemp team were great! My '95 furnace was suddenly working sporadically just as the temperature outside was dropping. We contacted CoreTemp after reading some reviews. They were prompt, professional and approachable. Most importantly, they gave my wife and I an education on the black box that was our furnace. I believe their pricing was fair and we are the new owners of a furnace, humidifier and condensate pump. Warm days are here again. I definitely recommend CoreTemp.

Thank you Richard for coming to service our furnace after this snow storm. Our furnace shut off this morning due to the storm setting off a safety valve. Richard came to fix it 20 min after I spoke to him. He also made sure other features were operating properly.

I first met Richard and CoreTemp back in August of 2011 when I noticed that the air conditioner was not providing much cooling. I was prompted to contact him from his high ratings on HomeStars. He made a great first impression despite the bad news that there was a leak in the system. He advised replacing the AC unit and coils due to age and availablity of spare parts. In order to save up the money, I decided to replace the AC in Mar. 2012. Since our furnace was over 20 years old, I also replaced the furnace to save on installation costs. He and his associates were prompt in arriving and did a great job installing the new furnace and AC and removing the old. They actually finished the job early and cleaned up afterwards. I only had to move my treadmill back into position. The Ruud AC and multi stage furnace Richard recommended also have been great. After almost 1 year of service, I have noticed a nice savings on my heating and cooling costs. As a bonus, the furnace is much quieter than the old one. CoreTemp even assisted me in applying and receiving a small rebate from the government. From my experience dealing with Richard, he has put a great effort into earning the high marks on HomeStars.

Richard responded with great service and knowledge. We thought our furnace may be on its last legs and ended up purchasing the top of the line Lennox. Can't believe that we noticed a difference immediately which is nice when you are spending money for a necessity but can't alway appreciate. Would recommend Core Temp without hesitation. Pat

I called Richard in the summer to fix my AC and he was amazing. You can read my review about him on that great experience. Why I am writing again is that yesturday my Furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days in January! It was -20 degrees and my whole house was frozen! I looked in the yellow pages and called about 10 HVAC techs who all said sorry they were backlogged by 2-3 days due to the bad weather!. Nobody could help me! Then I suddenly remembered Richard. I called Richard who answered right away. He too was booked for 3 days and apologized. BUT. He said he would help me out by asking me to do basic troubleshooting over the phone. I learned alot from him. After it still wasn't working, he said to give him 5 minutes and he would call a few colleagues of his to see if anyone could help me out. He called back right away and gave me 2 numbers and he said they will take care of me. Well, the first person I called said they will help the minute I told them Richard referred them to me. They came and fixed my issue withing 2 hours of the phone call! Then Richard called again later to see if my issue was fixed! How about that for customer service! Instead of saying Sorry I can't help you, Richard went out of his way to ensure I was able to resolve my issue! Never again will I call anybody but Richard for help. He is an amazing person and loves to serve his customers! I will be sure to do business with him again and will refer all my friends and family to him.

What did I like abut Richard:
- The pride he takes in his work, what he sells and the service he provides. You can see it when you speak to him - he wants to do a great job and cares.
- Everything was done, on time, cleanly, and with good advice as to what/how we should proceed
- Richards both specs and completes his projects - he's the guy you deal with up front and when the work is done. I like when the sales guy is the manager/install guy and there's no middleman.
- The equipment has worked great in the couple years since Richard did the install - no complaints; as efficient and as reliable as advertised.
