After years of not cleaning the eavestrough at the front of the house due to access issues, noticed vegetation growing out of them. A sign to have them cleaned and also to look into Gutter Guards to prevent future plant growth. From a search on Homestars, I found Ez Window & Gutter Cleaning. The excellent reviews prompted me to contact Vlad. The reviews are justified. Communicating through text and phone calls to determine the scope of work and size of eavestrough, a quote was quickly received and installation was also quickly scheduled. Vlad arrived on time and diligently went to cleaning the eavestrough, making minor repairs and installing the Gutter Guards in half a day. Only clean up for me was moving the paper leaf bag to the street for collection. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend Ez Window & Gutter Cleaning.

Kitchen sink drain started draining slowly and then clogged up. Had previously cleared a clog with my own drain snake. However this time, the clog was beyond reach of my snake. I have previously had DrawinWorks in for several small plumbing issues such as a leaking bathroom faucet and replacing a failed shut off valve. They have done a great job on those previous cases. On the day of the appointment, the plumber phoned that he was running late and would arrive approx. 30 later. He arrived on the new time. The plumber was friendly and efficient. After aplying drop sheets under the sink, he quickly cleared out the clog by running 30 feet of snake into the drain. He also applied teflon tape to the drain fittings as a precaution. When he was finished only a small amount of water under the sink needed to be wiped up - 1 paper towel. Once again, they have confirmed my trust in them. I will continue to call on DrainWorks for plumbing jobs that are beyond my rudimentary skills.

I first met Richard and CoreTemp back in August of 2011 when I noticed that the air conditioner was not providing much cooling. I was prompted to contact him from his high ratings on HomeStars. He made a great first impression despite the bad news that there was a leak in the system. He advised replacing the AC unit and coils due to age and availablity of spare parts. In order to save up the money, I decided to replace the AC in Mar. 2012. Since our furnace was over 20 years old, I also replaced the furnace to save on installation costs. He and his associates were prompt in arriving and did a great job installing the new furnace and AC and removing the old. They actually finished the job early and cleaned up afterwards. I only had to move my treadmill back into position. The Ruud AC and multi stage furnace Richard recommended also have been great. After almost 1 year of service, I have noticed a nice savings on my heating and cooling costs. As a bonus, the furnace is much quieter than the old one. CoreTemp even assisted me in applying and receiving a small rebate from the government. From my experience dealing with Richard, he has put a great effort into earning the high marks on HomeStars.

A branch on our apple tree broke. and was hanging over the neighbour's shed. Called Craig who said he would come over the next day for a quote. Due to a recent storm, he arrived with his crew in tow. Quoted me a very fair price. He and his crew had the broken branch and other dead branches removed and the yard cleaned within the hour. They were efficient, professional and courteous. Very satisfied.
