My AC recently stopped cooling my residence. To put this story into context, I had a previous quote from another Homestars provider who insisted my AC had unfixable leaks and that it was the best to rip/replace both furnace and AC and put me on a 7-year lease plan. Reading the details, I was in for $3000+ in implicit finance charges. Moral of the story: Don't buy into the lease pitch!.
Then, I called Rich at CoreTemp. He was easy to talk to, quick to accommodate and was at my house within 24 hrs with one of his technicians. They went straight to work running a pressurization test to check for leaks. Turns out my unit required some valve and fitting adjustments and coolant recharge; there were no substantial leaks!. The best part is total repairs were ~$500 making me $2300 richer given I was expecting full replacement. Rich is relationship business person in land of tight profit margins and disposable mentalities. He only fixed what was required with full explanation and built credibility in the process. He knows how to make a living but plant seeds for the future, a rare distinction in sales. This is why I rate them 10/10 and would not hesitate to call in future.
