Plugged Kitchen sink, Water stain in basement bedroom
Noted enlarging water stain in the basement bedroom, that started to drip. At the same time, kitchen drain got plugged.
I sent an email via on line contact on Sunday, and got a prompt response giving me some advice to hold off til Monday or Tuesday to save the Emergency call out fee.
When Justin came out on Tuesday, he promplty discovered the cause of the basement leak was not some massive pipe break ( which gave us nightmares about potentially massive reno costs to tear up ceiling drywall and replacing pipes), but a faulty connection to an upstairs shower drain.
He also showed my wife how to easily unplug the kitchen sink in the future as it was likley to recur given the type of pipes that were used, but talked us out of changing it as the costs would be significant.
We also dealt with John in Jan 2012 to fix plumbing related back up of laudary machine loctaed in the same bathroom. Again a result of improper drainpipe installation by the same "handyman".
Both John and Justin were great to deal with and gave us honest and straightforward advice that we could trust.
We will defuinitely continue to use and recommend their services in the future
