Vast Exteriors

I have been told by many people that I am a very hard to please person, but Vast Exteriors not only met all of my expectations, but surpassed them. Jordan created an absolutely amazing design, I don't know has he came with such unique ideas. I use my new backyard all the time and everytime we entertain we receive nothing but great compliments.

I have been a custom home builder for over 20 years now. I have built over 30 homes many of which have been multi million dollar estates. I started using Vast Exteriors to design and build the landscape projects associated with my house builds. So far I have used Vast on 5 separate projects, and both the homeowners and myself have been extremely impressed with the level of quality and creativity Jordan (owner) has delivered. 2 of jordan's designs for me have gone on to win highly recognized awards and that also boasts well for my portfolio. As a contractor myself I would highly recommend using Vast exteriors to anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship and a strong working relationship with their trades. I will continue to use and recommend Vast Exteriors to all of my clients. I think everyone should experience the Vast Difference.

We hired Vast Exteriors do develop a landscape plan for our backyard. It only took Jordan about a week to return with a plan that was perfect. we began construction on July 3 and by august 3 the project was complete, just as promised. The one thing I liked most was the fact that Jordan, the designer was also on site everyday to make sure that the vision we set out to achieve was being accurately constructed.

I am an established home builder in Toronto and I have used Jordan (Vast Exteriors) on about 5 projects now. From a builders perspective I wish more trades were as reliable as Vast. They are punctual, tidy and deliver consistent high quality work time after time. I have referred Jordan to many other builders and I will continue to do so in the future.

We had already committed to using Jordan Murfin and his team from Vast Exteriors for our backyard renovation project when I read the negitive comment posted here on Homestars. At first it worried me quite a bit, but I have to say that throughout the entire project Vast exteriors delivered much more then my wife and I expected. The design that was created by Jordan was an incredible drawing, but the finished result is truly spectacular. I find it hard to believe that 'john from Aurora' could have had that many problems with this company. Our project was quite complicated and not once did we have any problems, discrepencies or contractual issues. They arrived to site everyday (even raining days) and completed the job right on schedule.

I am glad I didn't read that negitive review before hiring Vast Exteriors or I would have defenitly miss out on a great renovation experience. I guess it's true what they say, you can't believe everything you read online.

Hard to say where to start. A 3 month project took over a year, and it is still not completed despite many promises and little in the way of delivery. If you deal with this guy you should get everything in writing, every small detail and make sure you have drawings for construction. He likes to tell you not to worry about the details, that everything will be first class, however he hires cheap subcontractors and delivers third rate, then he tells you that you got everything that you asked for. Vast is a one man outfit (Jordan) who is a two bit contractor, talented with designing flower beds and stone steps, but out of his element with anything else. If you are considering this guy for your work you should think twice, or more than that. We will eventually end our saga with Jordan through our lawyers and the courts. We have since found a lot of good people to come and fix his work so look carefully. I will follow up with another review and add some pictures of the vastness of mess he made.
