Algol Electrical

Igor did all necessary electrical work (recommended by an inspector following my home inspection) promptly, efficiently and with good humor. Work included Al wire connections, GFCI fixing, 1 new switch and 5 outdoor lights. I can highly recommend Igor of Algol Electrical.

Based on the reviews here - we called Igor to do the electrical on a bathroom we were renovating. He came quickly to quote on the job then was able to schedule the job within two days. Also, after the drywall was complete he came quickly at our convenience to complete the installation. We were very happy with his work and his price was fair. We will use certainly use Igor again.

Wiring and Pot lights. Service was exceptional. Igor already did 2 projects for me. He is timely and very tidy. Excellent workmanship. Superb at problem solving during the installation process and always offers practical and effective solutions. I will call him again in the future, when electrical work is required for the basement. The first time Igor was here was to install two tiffany lights in the bedroom. When we finally got the light for our outdoor sauna we called him again and he came and installed it today. Igor's name is in our book for electrician.

We hired Algol services after receiving a number of quotes from other reliable electricians. Igor stood out for these reasons:

1. His price was SIGNIFICANTLY lower then everyone else
2. He was honest and upfront about all the costs
3. He did not try and sell us anything else, but offered sound and calculated advice. Huge relief.
4. Now this is the icing on the cake: His work included patching, no other contractor included patching in their price!!

The job itself turned out to be much bigger than anticipated, by both us and of course Igor. Firstly our walls are old, with a large mix match of plaster and lathe and drywall - many many layers of drywall. Confronted with this Igor - in order to ensure the job would be completed in a timely manner - stayed late AND offered to come on the week end!!! He took immense pride in his work, asked us along the way if we were happy, even wanted us to comment on his plastering work, took pride in the patching of his work!! WOW.

We have done tones of renovations over the years, as we've owned many homes and I can say without a doubt that Igor is a true gem. We will most definitely hire him again!

Our family hired Igor to complete the installation of pot lights, light fixture and outlets in the basement of our house. Right from the start, Igor demonstrated utmost professionalism. Igor showed up to the job on time and with all of the appropriate materials for the job. He was meticulous with in his installation process and went above and beyond in ensuring that all of our needs were met, and that all of our concerns were answered. Once the job was completed, Igor thoroughly cleaned the entire area to ensure the place was left spotless. It was a pleasure having Igor as our electrical contractor and I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a qualified professional.

Igor wanted to asses the job on a Sunday. Since I was in a hurry for the elecrical part of the fireplace instal this was more than perfect for me - I was in a bit of a time jam.
I consulted with Igor on how best to do the job- he was not stuck only in his ways - that was refreshing! Igor then came the next day to do the job! He was on time- he was pleasant- he was intellegent about the clever ways needed for this job- and he is - was professional!! In Toronto the trades have an attitude about them- they don't return calls- and make you a hostage to their ways- Igor has nome of these arrogant qualities in his business! Igor is a real star ! I am fortunate to have found an electrician which can be trusted!!

We saw his ad in the Beach Metro News and saw 'small jobs done right away'. He answered his phone right away, came the next day, quoted us a very reasonable price before he started, and did a careful and professional job. Moreover he is a real gentleman and I will call him anytime I need an electrician and will recommend him to friends.
