Door Replacement

I booked House Smart Home improvement based on the reviews on this site, but was quite surprised by the service and work done.

I called for a quote and a representative came out promptly, but the professionalism definitely was lacking. It was like he almost didn't want my business - tried to speed me through the process and belittle any thoughts I had. He told me someone will contact me in a few days to measure my doors. No one contacted me for 2 weeks and I asked the representative if someone was going to contact me. He gave me the name of the installer who in my opinion was pretty rude especially when I started asking him questions eg. I asked him if I could seal off the entrance to prevent dust from coming in as they would have to cut the door out. He replied (paraphrased) "Nobody does that and you can do it as long as it doesn't get in our way" .

To keep a long story short the install job was ok - when mounting the door they put a pin through the hole where the lock was suppose to be so I had to pull it out with a plier my lock would fully close as intended. I didn't notice it until after they left. Horrible service/ mediocre job. Home smart is a large outfit and outsource their work - would recommend going with someone personal and local.
