City wide did work at my elderly parents place. We met with Chris and he was a man of his word. He came in and wanted to make things right and made sure that we were satisfied.

Exterior brick work
Don't let your hard earned money go to waste. This company has zero quality of work and absolute zero professionalism. We hired city wide to the exterior brick work at my elderly parents home. My entire family, including myself, is in the construction industry and the work that they did was very poorly done. It didn't withstand the first winter. The work was very simple, but the situation was very
complicated. We hired city wide because we thought they were professional contractor, but that is far from case. Chris lacks the knowledge
and experience required to run a construction company. He was appointed his position solely
through relation. I personally think he is a
marionette. He has people in the office pulling
the strings and you might as well be a chimney
because all he is going to do is blow smoke up
your end promising you stuff that he can't
deliver. We called city wide back to fix his
mistake, again the situation was very
complicated because we needed to obtain a
right of entry permit again in order to access the neighbours property to fix his mistake. It
took about a year long process for us, not city
wide, to obtain the permit at a cost of $1,100
with a $5000.00 deposit. We, not city wide,
called hydro to insulate the electrical lines at
a cost of $1000.00. Throughout this entire time
we were communicating via email with Chris keeping him informed and up to date, which
he responded and was still committed. One month prior to construction commencing we
notified Chris that we got permission start
work on the 24th. of October til Nov 15. A total of three weeks to do a job that any good
contractor can do in three days. Chris
responded and remained committed. October 24th came and nobody showed. We called Chris and he said somebody would be there the next
day. We took his word for it. The next day came and nobody showed. We called Chris again and he said tomorrow, this patterned continued for the entire duration of the 3 week timeline that permit allowed us to work. Now we currently
stand at a loss of $2100 and a contractor that won't fix his mistake. This is a absolute true
testimony, don't waste your hard earned money on city wide. City wide should not be your first
choice and they are not the only choice. There
are far better companies out there. With the
kind of work and treatment we received I
would say they belong on Craigslist or kijiji.
