This company is just terrible and the customer service is really bad. Go elsewhere!!! They ended up costing me a fortune and I had to pay for new movers to finish the job and for an additional half month at the storage unit because these guys did not complete the job and left me high and dry. I had until the end of that day to be out of the storage unit, which should have been easy but they showed up 3 hours late in their rental truck. The job was for a pick up at a storage unit downtown and then 2 drop offs, both downtown. Now we are talking a 1 bed unit here, not the contents of some mansion. After loading some items they decided that there was not enough room in the truck for everything and that we would have to come back for a second pickup. When I looked in the truck I could see that they had packed it so badly and that everything would easily have fit had they bothered to plan it. Anyway we agreed that we would do the first drop and then come back for the remaining few pieces. I've never seen two guys work so slowly. They told me it was because they had been working since the early morning on another job and were tired and that they were standing in for 2 other guys. None of this should be any concern of mine at all. As far as I'm concerned I'm paying for a professional service and that's what I expected. What set off alarm bells was when they told me that if I wanted a professional job I should have hired professionals. So beware everyone. At 9pm they simply said that they were too tired to do anymore and that they wanted paying and that I should take it up with 'management'. At this point there was still items in the service elevator and the common hallway to the new condo. When I spoke to 'management' on the phone to tell him that the job was not finished and that his staff refused to go back for the last few items and do the second drop he said that there was nothing that could be done. He promised that he would get back to me first thing in the morning but that I would have to pay again. I had no problem paying for the additional time but I refused to pay the standing charges again as the job should have been finished that day, and could easily have been had they arrived on time and actually given a damn and put in some effort. Anyway he promised me that the matter would be resolved. Foolishly I paid for the work done until 9pm. Sure enough the next day no one called at all and despite me calling their office numbers all day I got through to no-one. I even drove round to their office on Parliament Street to the address on the website only to find that there is no office and instead it's just someone operating out of their appartment in St. Jamestown. So here I am having handed over the cash with my move not completed, furniture still in storage and no response from this so called professional company. I can tell you now 8 weeks later that I never heard from them. I had to hire another moving company to finish the job, which was completed within an hour and half but still cost me another $300. To make matter worse I had to pay for and additional half month at the storage unit, which cost another $200.
Moving is one of the most stressful times in people's lives. These cowboys added to my stress. Theydo not deserve your business. Take it elsewhere.
