Arby Cartage

This is the second time using Arby's and again they went above and beyond. First they picked up from storage and then from my home, they drove from Brampon to Burlington put everything in it's place. My friend also used them last year and have booked them once again. Many thanks to all at Arby's you are all wonderful.

We had a very nice experience with arby cartage. They moved our house with a lot of furniture and many boxes. They were very pleasant and hard working. They were accurate with the time the move would take and put all the furniture back together again properly. We would definitely use them and recommend them to other people. thanks so much

We assumed that Arby Cartage would be too expensive for us since they had such awesome reviews online. After contacting a few other companies we called Arby and were quoted a price cheaper than all the others!

The 2 movers showed up right on time, were very quick to move all of our furniture (and nothing got broken) and they beat us to the new house by about 10 minutes. Both were very nice and very helpful and I couldn't believe how fast they packed and unpacked everything. We ended up paying less than expected because the move took less time than we had planned for - only 5.5 hours total (including the 1 hour for the guys to drive out to Kitchener).

I have already recommended Arby Cartage to several friends moving in the area and won't hesitate to call them the next time we move!

We felt totally confident that we chose the best company to help us with our downsizing move to a condo from a 4 bedroom home. Anil and his crew were professional in their work. These guys are wonderful! Fast, efficient and most of all friendly and curtious. They moved us in 6 hours and we have A LOT of stuff! There was no damage to the houses and only our valet broke. Anil took the piece that night and got it repaired. I didn't even have to say a word about it. When we received it back, it was just as it was. After our move, they went to Markham and picked up a dining set, buffet, and piano and brought it all the way back to Oakville (this was another day). With all that driving around, I must say that the prices are extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend them again and I have actually had 2 other families book their move already!

We were about to start a major renovation to our house and needed to find movers for two moves: one move into an apartment and the other move for the remaining house contents into storage. We have a 3 storey house with a finished basement so it was a lot of work.

I found Arby Cartage through Homestars. Their rate seemed reasonable and I liked how honest and forthcoming Arby was. Anil (Arby's son) and two of his movers moved us into the apartment on one day and he came back another day with four other helpers to move our stuff into storage on another day. Anil is friendly and has a super positive attitude which helped us stay calm during this hectic move and gave us confidence.

I will call them again when our renovation is all done.

Searching for movers we contacted 5 companies, including the top 3 rated listings on this site. Arby Cartage was the only one to answer their phone. In the end, it turned out that they had the most reasonable pricing too. Booking was a simple process, and between the time of booking and the actual move date, Arby Cartage was responsive and replied to all our emails within a day, and/or called us back within a few hours of leaving a message. They followed up with us a couple days before our move date to go over the details and schedule of the move.

Arby and Trevor showed up early on move day, and after a quick assessment of the situation got right to work. The truck was packed quickly and considerately, taking extra care to wrap certain items in protective blankets. When unloading at the house, they were cautious with our floors, took care of all our stuff. They were very friendly and easy to talk to throughout the entire process.

Fast, focused and friendly, we will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them for your next move.

I found Arby Cartage to be very efficient, professional. They had my one bedroom apartment moved to the new place within 1.5 hours. The movers were quick, careful with my things and very professional. They were easy to book and followed up with me on all details of the move. The service was well worth the price and I would recommend or use Arby for any move I had in the future.

Arby Cartage was definitely the right choice for my move. From the very start they answered all of my questions and gave me a sense of comfort about their services. They certainly did not disappoint.

I had two locations to move so they suggested sending one truck to each location. They arrived promptly at 9am at both locations and were done loading the trucks in about an hour and a half. They finished unloading both trucks at the new location by 1pm, which meant we had the rest of the day to start unpacking. It was a great idea to use two trucks.

Anil definitely knows what he's doing. He was on top of everything which meant the move went quickly and smoothly. I'm still so impressed with their professionalism and speed!

My newlywed wife and I moved out of my father's house last week, and we selected Arby Cartage for our moving needs based on their excellent reviews here on HomeStars. The movers showed up promptly at 9 AM, as they said they would, and managed to cram our furniture and stuff (queen bed, large queen pull-out couch, dresser, bookshelves, BBQ, two bikes, two office chairs, and many, many boxes) into their white cube truck with excellent speed. We were done at the house in only an hour and a half, ahead of even my most optimistic schedule. The bed and pull-out couch were my biggest concerns but our two movers handled them with aplomb. Heading out to our house in Etobicoke, I suggested they take the road I usually took but they stuck to the 401 as their GPS suggested; my wife and I arrived first but not by much; it's best to arrive first anyways; we had a chance to make sure the house was ready to receive them (it had snowed the night before) and in any case I preferred that the movers take a familiar route rather than possibly getting lost on my verbal instructions.

Once they arrived shortly after we did, everything was unloaded quickly; they even managed to get the enormous pull-out couch down our staircase and into the basement. We were done in about 3.5 hours; the minimum charge is for 4 hours but the price was exceedingly reasonable -- we had the minimum number of people (2) and I think the smallest truck. Would definitely use to move again.
