I had no cold water coming out of our faucets, but the hot water was working well. After reading a couple of great reviews, I called WaterWorks and spoke with a very friendly woman who took me through their process and answered my questions. Michael arrived one hour later! He did a walk-through of the house and told me that the problem was that the pipes were frozen; he then gave me a quote for the costs, which I accepted and he went straight to work. At first it seemed like there might not be a way for him to fix it because we have plastic pipes upstairs (plastic pipes cannot be heated to melt the ice), but luckily our basement had copper pipes - and luckily that's where the freeze was. He had a machine that looked like a battery which ran electricity through the pipes in order to thaw them. There were a few challenges that came up, for example he had to remove our washroom door because the cables did not reach, but Michael was professional, very nice, and efficient. I would definitely call WaterWorks again!
They also have a discount right now where you get $10 off (up until March 30, 2011) if you give them socks or warm clothing that they will donate to a shelter. I had a bunch of old scarves, hats, sweaters and socks that I gave to Michael. I think this is a wonderful program, and should be done by everyone who uses WaterWorks and has anything to spare!

Hi LTLord,
You're fantastic! Thank you for your concise review and encouraging others to donate their old clothing and things for the less fortunate than us. It is one of the several ways that we give back to our community. We relly appreciate you taking the time to express yourself her. We look forward to being there when you need us.
