Nook 'N' Cranny Home Inspections

I had Darren inspect my newly purchased 2.5 story property in Hamilton.
Darren is a polite and personable gentleman. I called him on short notice and he was nice enough to accommodate me into his schedule, even though I had to cancel on him on one occasion. Darren is quite knowledgeable with his craft, answering all of the inquiries I through at him. He was even able to pinpoint some knob and tube wiring. I especially like the fact that he knew the building history behind Hamilton's century homes. Some added advantages to using Darren: he provided the inspection report on the same day, with great colourful pictures, great detail, and a binder to boot; he's not another run of the mill inspector, he's actually certified and accredited by BBB and NACHI (he attended his inspector schooling at Mohawk) he accepts both credit and debit card mobile payments. Wow, this was super convenient.

Overall, an effective inspector who's a straight shooter, quite honest in his dealings with customers.

Amazing service and ultra professional. I wouldn't recommend anybody else. Was very impressed with how thorough Darren was. We spent over an hour just in our basement which was very important to us. And the report we received after was incredible and very helpful.

Darren was fantastic. Very thorough, his report was clear and to the point, the pictures were very helpful in explaining his assessment, and he took his time to make sure the paperwork was clear and understood. Overall, a pleasant and helpful experience.

I called Darren to do an urgent home inspection the next day (weekend) and he was very accommodating. He arrived even before the scheduled time and was very thorough in every single aspect that he was inspecting. He's very professional and is highly recommended. Sending me the full 23 page report with all the photographs of the problem areas in the house the very same night (Saturday at 11:00 pm) tells the whole story. Don't get a home inspection in Winter, he won't check various areas if they are covered in ice/slow. He also does not go up on the roof. Watch out, because you can be missing a lot of important issues.

We found Darren recommend on a website so we called him for a home inspection. The whole thing went very well. Darren was on time, he did a thorough job, inspected everything and provided us with a detailed report. We didn’t have any problem and his price is fair so we would definitely recommend him.

Like most people, Darren was referred to me by my real estate agent. With the home inspection, he did a great job. He answered every question of mine, checked everything of importance, everything that he should. It was a very thorough inspection. The price seemed competitive. I’d say it’s pretty affordable for what he does. And I there were no issues at all.
