When we decided to have our three bedrooms changed from carpet to hardwood floors my brother recommended Speers who had done his entire second floor. My brother was impressed with Greg Adams and the company’s professionalism and pricing. The same held true for us. From the very beginning Mr. Adams was available to answer any inquires (even answering emails on his day off) and came personally to take measurements and provide us with a quote. I really appreciated the detail of his quote where every cost was laid out. This enabled me to save a few dollars since I was able to do some of the prep work myself. The installers were punctual, efficient, and clean. Both my wife and I were very happy with the entire process and with the finished product. We would highly recommend Speers.

We decided to renovate our basement and went to Speers Flooring on the recommendation of neighbours. The staff were so easy to deal with and answered all our questions making sure we had the right product for a basement. The installers had to level the basement first and now with the floor in, one would never know the basement had been so uneven. The job was done in within a few weeks of picking our flooring. We have a large dog with big nails, so we found at speers flooring Torlys line of top quality canadian made laminate flooring that no other laminate I had reasearched could match. Best of all there was no smell at all of, off gasing even after the first day in which it was installed, unlike most all other laminates that pollute your indoor air quality. To top everything off the service was outstanding too! effortless and professional. Three guys ripped up a ceramic entrance way with a carpeted living/dining room and installed the laminate with beautiful new baseboards in one day all the while being polite and friendly too. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Speers Flooring to anyone interested in having a job done hassle free.

Having done my research on this very site, I have decided to contract Speers Flooring to replace our dining and living room carpets with brand new hardwood flooring. Now that the job is finished, I can happily state that this was the right decision. The quote matched the final bill exactly, and the entire job (350 sq. ft) was completed within two days. When one of the floor boards was identified as scuffed after the first room was completed, Peter made sure the flaw was rectified the following day without any impact on otherwise impeccable job. We installed a new hardwood floor in a 13x22 family room. They did an outstanding job, the work was professional and the finish was exactly what we wanted. They cleaned up EVERYTHING, leaving no mess at all. We also had them retrofit flush mounted wooden vents into an older existing hardwood floor, and the result was almost perfect. Even though it was a very difficult task requiring precise cutting to make sure there was no damage to the existing floor, the finish was as if the vents had always been there. Very satisfied with the overall work and results. You can't go wrong with them.

encountered some minor issue of what type of reducer should be used, as our own contractor mentioned something of different, manage later called in to bridge the diference, overall is good experience.
