We replaced our old hardwood floors. We hired Speers Flooring and we were so impressed with their professionalism. From start to finish, they were proficient, efficient, careful with moving the furniture from one room to the next. The installers even went the extra mile, by placing felt pads on the bottom legs of all my furniture so that is would not scratch the new floors. It made the whole job run seamless. Job well done !!!

We replaced ceramic tile in the foyer and powder room (new porcelain tile), vinyl in the laundry room and kitchen (Torly's cork), and carpet throughout two floors of the home (Torly's engineered hardwood). This was a huge job with lots of upheaval but Speers made it as painless as possible. They kept us informed and work was done as scheduled - in fact they completed the job ahead of time. The crew were helpful, friendly and very efficient; they cared personally about doing an excellent job. They always asked in advance about, for instance, bringing in saws, and cleaned up afterward. One tricky part in particular was custom fitting the floor (Torly's engineered hardwood) underneath the railing for our circular staircase. We were amazed at how good it looked. We love our new floors. We ran into an unexpected hitch with the ceramic floor when we discovered a think plank under the existing floor, changing the level, but their experience paid off in doing a quick workaround. Even initially choosing the product in the Speers Flooring showroom, staff were informative and helpful without being aggressive. We highly recommend Speers Flooring.

We gutted a bungalow and needed all new flooring. We wanted to put hardwood everywhere but was concerned about wear and tear and what would be most durable. The staff was so helpful in their recommendations and when I purchased the flooring they had to store it for us for months as the renovations ran alittle long. Prices were reasonable and even let me return a box without charging me a restock fee.

I replaced carpet with hardwood flooring in my condo. The service Speers Flooring provided was excellent - both in store with their knowledgeable sales staff and during the installation. Peter (the owner) provided a quote that was prompt, detailed and reasonable and was in contact during the installation. The installers (Randy and Kyle) were polite, professional, experienced, punctual and did a top notch job. They cleaned up everything afterwards too! Superb work, service and attention to customer. I would definitely recommend Speers Flooring.

We chose Speers flooring because it has been around for a long time and have only heard good things about it. We found the selection at the store to be easy to look through and they had such a great variety it was easy to find what we were looking for. The tiles look beautiful, the installers did a great job. It was completed in the timeframe given and they always cleaned up really well at the end of each day. Now to choose the backsplash....

We decided to go with Speers Flooring because they have been in Oakville for as long as I can remember. Peter provided a very detailed quote and the installers did a fantastic job! I was happy to use a local company that sells Ontario milled North American Maple.

All round positive experience. We had Speers do a reno on our powder room. Good selection of tiles and helpful staff. Prompt reasonable quote. Work started on time and took the time they estimated. Great installation by Jamie. He took extra time to make sure the floor was levelled, suggested different options on how to orient the tiles and did the work flawlessly. Final price was exactly as quoted. We will definitely use Speers again.

Excellent workmanship in all aspects of the job. Very pleased with the advice provided in the design phase of choosing the tile and the tile layout. This is the second tiling contract completed by Speers and will not be the last.

Greg Adams led the project and ensured that all of my 1000 questions were answered. He ensured that the project was organized to military precision. As an engineer, I am highly detailed and this organization knows how to sweat the details. The installers Joseph and Peter were real craftsmen. For a job that was supposed to take 2 days, they needed only one day and a few hours the next. Their work ethic and expertise was unmatched with any previous contractor that I have used. The end result was an eye catching job that has thrilled my wife and myself. Where Speers Flooring differentiates itself from the rest of the pack is their genuine passion about what they do, their high level of customer service and attention to details. This set of characteristics is rare these days and Speers Flooring is the master at putting the needs of the customer first.

With so many hardwood flooring stores around it is hard to know who to choose. We went with Speers Flooring based strictly on their reputation and selection. Both salesmen that we dealt with were very knowledgeable and since they don't work on commission, everyone was very helpful and we never felt pressured. Dino came to quote the installation and was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Andree did the actual installation and he was very polite, considerate, quick and hard working. He did a wonderful job and we are thrilled with the job done. We would definitely would recommend Speers Flooring!
