My wife and I needed new carpet installed in our basement in December. Unfortunately, being first-time homeowners, we didn't know that Christmastime was a busy season for the carpet installation business. My wife called two or three places on the recommendation of family. The cheapest quote that we could find for a good-quality carpet was around $2500; on top of that, everyone she spoke to said there was no way that they could get our job done until at least three weeks later. The Victorious team were very accommodating with our tight timelines, they came right to the house to show us their samples and made recommendations as to what type of carpet would best suit the space and its intended use, and installed it professionally - and all for at least $1000 less than the other quotes. Al, the installer, not only put down the carpet, but he went above and beyond by making sure that, at the spots where the carpet met up with other types of flooring, the transitions were done properly. Their post-installation follow-ups were also a nice touch (just checking to make sure that everything was to our liking). We have already recommended Victorious to friends and family since everyone who comes to the house immediately exclaims over the awesome, cozy, rich-looking carpet. We called on Mark to get an estimate for our carpet in the basement that needed to be stretched along with a few other minor carpet repairs. Mark is extremely knowledgeable about the carpet/flooring industry and was very professional. His team came in on time and did a great job, leaving absolutely no mess as well. Although there was a confusion on the scheduled time from the Victorious Flooring team as to when our services were to begin, when the guys did come to do the work they were very efficient, and did a wonderful job. Also they were very polite and apologetic for the time confusion and Mark adjusted the quoted price accordingly due to time discrepancy and any inconvenience that occurred. Contacted Victorious for basement carpeting. Mark provided education and guidance on his sales call and did not try and "upsell." His quote was competitive, and the installation job better than expected. We have had squeaky stairs since we moved into our house 5 years ago. It became more of an issue since the birth of our daughter and we would often wake her up when we used the stairs while she was sleeping. We found Mark's company on the internet and he came to our house quickly after speaking to him to give us a no obligation quote on the work. His professionalism at the time was impressive. He was honest, reliable and did not have any pressure sales tactics. While he presented us with a reasonable quote, we decided to put off the work. Even when discussing this with Mark he was extremely professional and understanding. A few months later we decided we wanted to invest in this project and had no hesitation in calling Mark. He returned to our home to look at the stairs and based on the time gap from the original quote, he was able to still honour it, and he provided us with all of the necessary documents for working in our home. Mark came by while the work was being done and returned the following day once the work was complete. With our high traffic office environment we were looking for something inexpensive and cheerful looking resilient flooring. First it started as a DIY project but didn’t take long to give up. I called Mark at Victorious Flooring. From picking up the phone and finishing the job everything was seamless. We had a tight deadline to finish the job and everything had to be done after hours. Mark had a troop ready for the evening and was able to finish the floors in one evening and came back the following day to finish the trim work. I found the Victorious company by searching the Internet for a reliable and inexpensive contractor for the carper replacement project in my home. I saw a number of positive reviews and decided to give them a try. Well, I've never been disappointed about this decision. I gave them a call and got an answering machine. I left a short message describing what kind of service I was looking for and, to my surprise, they called me back in less that 5 minutes. The person's name, who returned my call, was Mark and he, I believe, is a head of this company. I was very delighted how he answered all my question and provided all the info I required. We scheduled a day for his visit and he came to my house to take a measurement. The price for this service is, I believe, $40 or $50, but it's free is you decide to order his service. I also asked his advice regarding the carpet which was installed in two bedrooms upstairs a couple of years earlier. This project, obviously, wasn't done properly at the first time and the carpet needed re-stretching and one of the seems was not perfect. Mark agreed to fix those side issues in the same time with the main installation and the price he asked for was very reasonable. We scheduled the installation in about 3 weeks because it was my request. I needed time to complete my renovation. It took me a bit less time than I originally anticipated and I called Mark again and asked him if it would be possible to re-schedule my installation earlier. Mark took my wish with full attention and was able to reschedule me a few days earlier. On the installation day everything was just perfect. Service was fast, professional, and very clean. I was more that just happy. In simple words, Mark has exceeded my expectations big time and I can recommend him and his company to everyone without hesitation. Well done, Mark! Thank you so much!
