I only write good reviews when the service provided was absolutely convincing and exceptional. Ambia Windows and Doors far exceeded my expectations. We are very pleased with our new windows. From the minute I phoned them to have the quotes to the completion of our new windows, they were very professional and efficient. The European installers were skilled, fast and clean. I have a grand piano blocking a set of my windows and the installers were able to move the piano, do the work and move it back to its original position at no extra cost and without any issue. Tony, the president, came to my home personally to make sure all the windows were installed properly and made a follow-up visit even several weeks after the installation. He went through every window with us to make some future recommendations. I highly recommend Ambia Windows and Doors to anyone and would give them a 10+++. Job well done!

We have a '60s 1 1/2 storey house with some original and some '80s windows. We decided to change all the windows and convert our dining room window into a garden door for a future deck.

We did a lot of research but decided to go with Ambia because of Tony's knowledge of his product , warranty and the price.Once we decided what we wanted , Tony was very patient in allowing us to change our minds several times on the look and what was practical for our home.

Once this was decided Omar and Alex, the installers, came to do initial measurements and were very helpful in offering advice on what would look right and how the install should proceed.Alex showed me various pictures from previous work which gave me a rel feel for the process and what the finished product would look like.

The install was quick , clean and efficient. all windows done in one day( even with ants and rot in window sills), garden door and finishing work done in day 2 and minor touch ups done in day 3. Tony dropped by on day 3 to ensure everything was good and walked me through features of windows.
A dozen neighbours have dropped by to inspect the work and have been impressed.

From start to finish I was totally pleased with Ambia's service. The windows look stunning and I will use them again when we have a future project.

Janna came and did up the quote and was quick and professional and worked with us to change things around to our desires. We had some difficulties with some measurements and the 1st installation date had to be post-poned, but Tony handled it very professionally and the installers Omar and Alex were really great guys who did a spectacular job. Despite problems and the potential for this job to go sideways they made it right and I can say I am very pleased with the outcome and how they handled the challenges. A good company to deal with, and highly recommend them.

It has been almost 4 months after our windows have been replaced, and we are really happy with our new windows. We replaced 18 windows in total. The installation team (Igor, Steward and Spyrol) were quite professional and easy going. They even came ahead of their appointment time and finished the project in 3.5 days. They came back to put our shutters back on after we painted the window trims. Ambia is a company that won our trust, as they do care about their customers and thrive to make them satisfied.

This is the second time we have used Ambia Windows. The first time we had garden doors installed. The installation was done very well. Tony helped us to replace all the windows in our home and to install 3 pairs of shutters. When we expressed that we wanted to change the placement of the shutters after the were initially installed, Tony followed up with us and planned to have them corrected until we were happy. He continuously stayed in touch with us and kept us up to date. We are happy with how Tony handled the situation and communicated with us. We recommend Ambia Windows and Doors.

I needed to replace a couple of old windows and was interested in wood windows. Michael from Ambia provided good advice on the window selection and a quote for Loewen windows, and answered all of my numerous questions in a very timely manner. The installation was done very professionally and efficiently, and the work sites were left clean and tidy. I am extremely happy with the Loewen windows and with the service provided by Ambia. I would definitely use Ambia again without hesitation.

This was the second time I hired Ambia Windows and Doors Inc. The first time they did a very professional and clean job, so I decided to hire them again. I am very glad I did hire them again as my experience was just as excellent as the first time. Michael Radocchia, who is the project consultant, provided me with a competitive quote in a timely manner and answered all the questions I had (I can be somewhat demanding at times). The installers, Alex and Omar, were very friendly and professional. They asked questions about little details just to make sure I was happy. They left the job site impeccably clean and I am very happy with my new sliding patio door and basement windows. I will be hiring Ambia Windows and Doors Inc. again for a project at my mother-in-laws house. Ambia Windows and Doors Inc. is the kind of company that will be there for you when something goes wrong. I don't know this because something went wrong but I received a follow up phone call and follow up e-mail after each project asking me how everything went and if I had any feedback. As a customer I really appreciate that.

This was our second experience with Ambia- to replace the front door and remaining original windows. Based on previous work we were very confident about the windows. But the front door was going to be a challenge in our 75 year old house. It's first thing anyone notices about your house and frankly you really don't plan on ever replacing it again. Michael showed us all the options and obviously felt as strongly as we did that it had to be done right.
He was in constant Email contact throughout -checking and double checking. The installers Alex and Omar were great - real craftsmen. The irreplaceable gum wood mouldings look virtually undisturbed. We are thrilled with the result.

We needed new doors to replace the "original" ones in our old home. We were looking for something special for the front, and something solid & serviceable for the back.

The first person we dealt with was Michael, and he was just wonderful. He came over, showed us our options, and we had lots to choose from to fit the requirements we were looking for. After meeting him, Omar & Alex came over to do the measurements.

We went ahead with the project, and the doors were ready within the time we were told. Omar & Alex installed the doors, and did a fantastic job. They were great to have around, and answered all of our questions.

We also dealt with Tony just before and after the installation, and he was also just great.

Overall, the experience was perfect. We got the great doors we wanted and the level of service we were hoping for. I'd recommend Ambia to my family & friends. If we decide to get new windows, we'll be calling them.

Ambia were wonderful! They were very professional , experienced and knowledgeable. Our windows were skillfully installed on a timely basis and look great. We could not be happier with our experience in replacing most of the windows of our home (11 windows in all). Everything went according to plan and we were kept informed throughout by Ambia.

I had arranged quotes from 3 companies, based on their ratings on Home Stars. They each visited our home for a couple of hours, did preliminary measurements, and gave us a quote for the work – including Michael Radocchia from Ambia. He was very professional and very informative. He brought samples of the Vinylbilt windows with him and explained the process to us. The Vinylbilt Platinum Series windows that he recommended to us include a number of upgrades over builder’s grade windows and he carefully explained the various features - and also the options available to us. Their quote was very comparable to the other 2 quotes in price but we were convinced that both the quality of the Vinylbilt windows and the quality of the installation were better and, thus, Ambia represented the best value to us. Michael was also excellent in replying promptly to various questions that we had after receiving the advice and quotes from the other 2 companies.

Shortly after re-contacting Michael, Omar and Alex (who would be our installers) came to our house to do the exact measurements. They were both very professional and efficient. Based on their advice, we made a couple of minor changes to the draft contract before signing it and paying our deposit. We were told it would be 4 to 6 weeks before the windows would be custom manufactured and ready for installation. Sure enough after 4 weeks, Tony, the manager from the Ambia office phoned to schedule the installation and sent us details by email of what we were to do ahead of the installation, including removing curtains, etc.

On the scheduled day, Omar and Alex arrived at the arranged time to commence the installation. They were very polite and efficient. Drop cloths were put down to protect our carpets, etc and they very professionally installed our windows in accordance with the Window Wise approved quality standard of installation (See attached link http://www.windowwise.com/about.htm) . They were happy to explain the process to me and why this was the proper way to install windows. When they finished work on each of the 2 days, they carefully tidied up afterwards, including using a commercial vacuum cleaner.

Frankly, the whole process could not have gone better! Our windows look great and I would happily give Ambia a rating of 11 (rather than 10) if I could. I am also happy to recommend, Ambia and Michael, Tony, Omar and Alex to my family, friends and neighbors should they need to replace any of their windows.
