Balcony and bathroom do it yourself supplies
Whenever I enter this store, within a couple of minutes I'm regularly approached by sales associate who doesn't finger-point but takes me directly to whatever items I'm seeking and sticks around to answer my inquiry in detail. I have bought all sorts of stuff from Lowes, as I'm a Do-it-yourselfer. Obtained loads of stuff from them as I'm into a fairly large renovation for one guy -- I've got their tiles, paint, wallpaper, cabinets, artificial grass, lumber, moulding,balcony screening. I'm not kicking Home Depot which is just across the road from Lowes, but prices and assortment in both stores are so similar that it makes little difference. However Lowes sales folk are right there, bend over backwards with help & useful suggestions. Is it possible that Home Depot operates with smaller staff? Appreciate that these aren't easy times & many companies have no choice but to keep floor staff to the minimum. But what a difference in customer service between these two stores. I'm sure Home Depot have good floor staff too, but maybe I'm out of luck. But who can be bothered to search the aisles to try and find someone to guide me to the product. But even
when I can get attention, all I get at Home Depot is a pointed finger, try "aisle #3 or whatever". A pleasure to do business where I'm well treated, so Lowes is my favorite choice.
