I was refered to Burl-Oak by a friend and I was very satisfied with the whole process.

I called for a quote and Chris was at my home the next day and left a very competive quote.

We booked a date and the crew arrived as scheduled,proceeded the project.

Job completed within 4- 5 hours.

Awesome as I did not have to wait weeks for new driveway as other
companies want to do.

I then called the company Fall 2015. Garry from Burl Oak was out at my property within 2 days. I received a quote that was fair.

I booked them for Spring 2016. They called me in May to confirm the day. The crew showed up on that day as planned.

Within 4 hrs I had the old driveway removed and the new one laid and rolled. The crew was professional, courteous and cleaned up before they left.

I recommend this company.

From the quote to the finished work Burl-Oak exceeded my expectations. They committed to a date within 2 weeks of signing the contract. The crew were efficient, courtesy and completed the job within 2 1/2 hours. What attracted me to Burl-Oak was that they would remove the old asphalt, top-up with dress stone, grade, compact and lay new asphalt all on the same date (unlike the "other" guys). Before hiring Burl-Oak Paving, I had obtained 3 quotes for the job.
Even though their price was somewhat lower than the others, that was not the only reason I decided to hire them.
First, their estimator impressed me as bit more professional than the others.
Second, even though I was a little angry when they could not start the job on the date agreed upon, I was greatly impressed and happy as son as the crew came and started working.
I was especially impressed by Richard the foreman, who actually operated most of the heavy equipment; landscaping, levelling and paving.
In my life (I am 75 years old) I have managed couple of large companies, and have dealt with many different services including paving. I have seen a lot of good hard workers, but not to many as Richard.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the job.
