Burl Oak Paving

They came and tore up the old driveway and laid new gravel and then paved both my neibors and mine in avery satisfactory manner. A year later we had them come back and seal both drives.

Burl-oak came to do the work last summer. Over the winter, the mortor for the steps fell apart. Burl-oak claims they want to re-do the work properly, but they have been giving me nothing but run around since April 2011 which i have all the emails for. Very disappointing, it didn't last through the winter, and now i'm being patronized, like I'm a fool.

In 2009 we contracted with Burl-Oak Paving to have our driveway repaved. They couldn't finish the jub in one day and left a pile of sand and gravel in the middle of the rolled and level base. The next day they were four hours late returning to complete the job and no-one was home to supervise. Rather than trucking away the extra stone, they spread it over the surface of the driveway so that we came home to an elevated causeway from the street to our garage. In the last two years the edges have cracked and the driveway will likely have to be replaced properly by 2013. The previous driveway lasted 30 years. We'll be lucky to get 5 out of this one. We had not one complaint. The job was complex and they spent a lot of time setting up the project and laying it out. This has given no drainage since our driveway slopes into our house. They were very professional and knowledgable in regards to their product and how to execute the work.

All I wanted was a driveway that drained properly. After Burl-Oak Paving caused approx. $800 to $900 in damage to my fence, garden, and garage, they paved and rain water runs into the garage. It has now been 2 months of telephone calls trying to get it fixed, too no avail. I am now preparing for my lawyer to take over the problem. I most definitely would not recommend Burl-Oak Paving.
