New furnace

Heating & Air Conditioning review in Calgary

In January we received a visit of a furnace technician for maintenance, and we spent around $700 in maintenance and parts, and $1,000 in a new electronic filter and damper. A few months later the furnace was required to be changed, and the same company gave me a discount in the new furnace to compensate the amount spent in the maintenance of the old furnace. Since then, no issues with the furnace or the A/C.

Maintenance in January, replace in July?

In January we received a visit of a furnace technician for maintenance, and we spent around $700 in maintenance and parts, and $1,000 in a new electronic filter and damper. The technician mentioned that although there were more modern furnaces, this was the best at the time and that worth maintain it properly. In July an HVAC technician to check the low flow in our machine, and he mentioned that our furnace was too old and needed to be replaced, same for the HVAC. If the furnace needed to be replaced, when the first technician did not mention it and made us spend money in the maintenance and upgrades?
Jason contact me in the morning of the next day I posted this feedback, and he is working on clarify any misunderstanding and fix the issue. While this issue is still in progress, definitely they demonstrated their focus on client service, and willingness to solve this problem.
