Rude and Disrespectful Customer Service
Although the initial installation of the garage door opener was fine, when I called to ask a question about the button no longer working, the technician on the phone was exceptionally rude and disrespectful. He actually had me in tears by the time I hung up the phone. I just wanted to know whether or not I should be looking for a battery to replace before having someone come in. It's a yes or no question. He kept telling me that he cannot do brain surgery over the phone. When I said I wasn't trying to make things complicated, I just wanted to know if there is something that I should check before paying a technician to come in, he kept telling me that he cannot do brain surgery over the phone and that he doesn't expect me to understand. His tone was awful and insulting. He told me that he has been doing this for 30 years and that if I didn't like what he was saying, that was my problem. I said, I'd have a family member take another look and call him back because maybe I wasn't asking the right questions. He told me not to call back and then he hung up on me.
