We needed shade for our sunny, wind prone back patio and explored various options with numerous suppliers. We were familiar with retractable awnings as we are RVers. The Royal Marcesa we chose is a robust awning that can self retract in the wind and is much more rugged than any RV awning! The Awning Factory representative (Randy) was very knowledgeable and we felt confident that our choice was the correct one. The installers were careful to make sure that the awning was securely attached to the house and was dead level.
