Update after main work on cabinetry.
Absolutely marvellous. Highly recommended.
Just to prove this is a balanced and objective review; communication has not been perfect. However, the business has had staff turnover like most others we know of in 2022 and has handled it very well. No impact at all on the final scheduling or work quality. Sheri the Office Manager is fantastic - the client is the priority and promises are kept. We simply went with 'leave it to Sheri' and all was fine.
Our cabinetry was installed by Mike. Unlikely there's a better guy to have working in your house, or a better all-round craftsman (any field). Pleasant to chat to and understands what you mean, but totally focused when he gets working. No time wasted and a high work rate. The outcome has been impeccable with everything best adjusted to any building quirks (our kitchen is late 1950s). The hardware provided is very solid and the panel finish is excellent. Best of all, if Mike sees minor changes in how something can be fitted, he'll suggest and listen. He'll also interpret and accommodate things you notice. Usually his own judgement turns out to be best. The final result pre-countertop is that we can't see anything that could have been done better. Frank's comments about 'we'll deal with that, make it the best it can be' turned out to be accurate, not just general pitch. There was one occasion when he called by and confirmed that a couple of things (a panel and a hinge) should be changed for best final outcome. No compromises were made to getting the best result. We're delighted and ran out of superlatives to compliment Mike on what he did through the job.
Currently waiting for countertop and final touches. Techno was mid-pricing but we went with them based on reviews and clearly are confirming them. Very high on 'ultimate value' which is what we go for. The core team (for us) of Frank, Sheri and Mike is an awesome trio to have working for you.
Final comment. If you are a couple where the first wants a new kitchen and the second sees no need but likes to see things that are done well (including things with motors) then Techno is a good choice for the job ;)
