Terrible terrible communication and integrity, we were told our order would take 4-6 weels. Nine weeks later, no one returns calls, no one knows where our order is, the order is in, oh actually its not in, ok leave a message, sales rep does not return 4 messages! Can’t schedule an install until the order is in…but you said it was in!? Try to get a straight answer for an install, wait at home for SIX hours after being told it would be 20-30 minutes to hear back, person gone home when we call again. This is not the first time, but it will be the last time. We have spent thousands of dollars over the years with this company, customer service is worse each time. Lassie could get more organized that this! There have been a few knowledgeable people, a friendly helpful guy named Ryan. I think the person scheduling is doing their best in a company that does not care how they treat customers.

All these people care about is making the sale. We have had on going issues since day one. I wish I had never delt with Vandolders!!!!!
Think twice before you order.

Horrible experience with this company and I'm still not satisfied as I have been waiting 6 weeks for the correct hardware for a window that took an additional 8 weeks after the initial window installation because they didn't check the order before sending it out to be installed. For two months above the larger middle window at the front of my home it was exposed to the elements (during winter) because while they were waiting for the correct window, they didn't put flashing where there should have been. Have cancelled the front door order because after 4 mths it was going to be another 4-6 wks for the front door because the salesperson messed up the order but wouldn't tell me until then.

today we had two fellows come and install our final two new windows and our new front door along with the storm door.They both were very professional and very precise in their work. The windows and the door are exactly as we ordered.We have had VanDolder's install all our doors and windows over the last 25 years. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

So today, we've had 3 person come and do some estimate on the new house we just bought. We aren't moving in for another month, but needed to get started with this window project, knowing how long it can takes to have windows ordered, etc. Our of our 3 estimate, Van Dolder's wasn't the cheapest, but wasn't the most expensive one... he was right in the middle. He wasn't on HomeStar... but was recomanded by family members who had just worked with him weeks before. The two other company were on HomeStar... I have to say two things. The first one was on HomeStar with great reviews, but came at a higher cost, and the 3rd one was on HomeStar, and the company itself had good reviews... but not the company actually making the windows... so before spending this kind of money on windows, we decided to go with someone who was referred to us, but who's windows had great reviews online. It will take Jason 1 week to install all the windows and I will get back on here once the job will be done, but so far, we have been really pleased with his service!

Purchased a counter top from Van Dolders kitchen and bath last year and it was defective. They said they would exchange it but we had had it already installed based on their word that the film on it would wipe off. Of course the film did not wipe off. They would not come and view the product and see what we were talking about. Very disappointed in this company.. If you look on their website it does not mention the fact that these counter tops are defective, just on sale.
