This company did an excellent job. Their site manager was exceptionally knowledgeable (and honest) and guided me away from unnecessary work that would not have been correct (but had been suggested by other roofers). Their price was very competitive.

Had problems with the service, and was upset and frustrated. Kept calling the service people working on the project, as they asked me to call them, but not very responsive to my calls over several months. Out of frustration, I called Ben and Rhonda, the owners, and they took matters in their own hands and had the matter resolved fairly quickly. Spoke to Rhoda recently and she explained the situation to me. Glad I spoke to her, as we both now have a better understanding of what went wrong. I should have gone straight to them when my problem occurred. I would use them again for future projects.

I highly recommend this company. I contacted this company in October 2013 regarding leaky eavestrough corners at my parents' residence ( who are seniors). Daniel promptly called to set up an appt. to view the problem and provide his recommendation to rectify the problem as well as provide an estimate. It was decided to install an additional downspout, reslope one of the eaves and repair (reseal) the two leaky corners at the front of the house. Daniel was very polite, professional and patient in answering all our questions; always very prompt in returning calls regarding scheduling etc. We were very pleased with his work and would therefore not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

I highly recommend this company for your eavestroughing needs. Brian was the gentleman who came with two other workers to install a splash guard on the eaves trough and added a new down spout with extension out to my garden. They were all very careful and polite. The quality of Brian's work was excellent especially since it was -25C when he did the required work. I was pleased with the price which was $75 less than all the other eavestroughing companies prices. I can't say enough good things about Brian and his workers, they were excellent.

I had an ice waterfall during one of the worse winters in Toronto. Randy took time to listen to me and give his expertise. His work was excellent and my problem resolved.
Fast forward a year later the problem of ice waterfall was there- it appears getting Randy back was problematic. Armstrong & Nelson was chosen for their long years in service EXCEPT they subcontract out!!! Beware getting follow up is a nightmare. SEE PHOTO. I did manage to get Randy back but problem not resolved & I had to get a new roofer. Also the other neighbours saw the results & took potential business elsewhere. Do not use this company as they are resting on their laurels.

Darren completed the job perfectly. He arrived when he said he would, and basically did a fantastic job! He also went above and beyond -- he filled in a hole where creatures were probably getting into our attic and also did some extra caulking over a couple of window frames that an earlier contractor had missed. Also Darren was very polite and professional and lovely to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends.

We found Armstrong and Nelson through recommendations. Their phone manner was clear and crisp and the workmen timely, polite and well spoken. The job was tricky and handled with patience and pride. The job was done to our complete satisfaction. I am thoroughly pleased with the work and results and will use them for our next home improvement.

If you need eaves replaced and you live south of Eglinton in Toronto, just trust me, make it easy for yourself and go with this absolutely excellent company. By far and away best price and service. Mine was a relatively small job in downtown Toronto, the replacement of about 21 feet of badly damaged eaves and fascia on the side of my old semi. I contacted nearly all of the top-rated eaves companies on Homestars, and found that many of the larger companies don't service the downtown. Juan at Armstong and Nelson not only was prompt in coming out to do a quote, he also was the only contractor who photographed the problem spots on the roof so we could see for ourselves.

If you are currently looking to get quotes, you know it can be hard to get companies to come out for smaller jobs. Not only did Juan come out promptly, he consistently kept in touch with me all along the way.

We were a bit nervous when Juan's quote came in much lower than two of the other highly-rated companies on Home Stars but I can't say enough about his work. It is perfect. Colour matches perfectly, it drains well and looks beautiful. Juan and his team definitely went above and beyond. It turned out Juan had to replace some of the ends of the rafters, which he was not anticipating. He did not raise the price one dollar even after I insisted. They were fast, Juan completed the work when he said he would. The new eaves matches perfectly and works like a dream. I cannot recommend Juan and this company highly enough. What a great experience.
