Restore Etobicoke - Habitat for Humanity

We had originally wanted Habitat for Humanity to remove and salvage the entire kitchen, however the residual value was insufficient to warrant having this completed by their staff. After the General Contractor disassembled the kitchen and moved it to a secure location, the Habitat recovery team showed up as scheduled, loaded all of the material in a highly efficient manner. all of the material was donated to be reused instead of going to landfill. Day one over and all went perfect!

Great place to look for odds and ends. Warning: its a little dusty and you need to remember most of the products are used, so don't expect everything to be bright and shiny! On the other hand, there are also lots of new items which companies have donated - sometimes slight defects or other times just discontinued models. its always a surprise! They always have used kitchen cabinets, bathroom sinks, various ceiling lights, doors, trim, and plenty of odds and ends from gardening items to appliances. If you like antique shops and garage sales you'll love this place!

The Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful store. I have purchased many things there. The staff were great and the prices terrific.
I would reccomend it to everyone. My cousin told me about it as an alternative to shopping the big name stores and paying their high prices.

I am in the process of renovating my kitchen. I needed a new sink, new hardware and new fixures. The staff were so helpful. The sink I purchased was a Kindred double stainless and the hardware was brushed nickel knobs and pulls. They didn't have enough hardware but kindly told me that Home Depot carried this line and I would most likely obtain the additional hardware that I needed from them. I find them most friendly and extreley knowledgeable.

I have recommended them to all my friends. It's a win win situation, They helped me and me buying from them supports Habitat for Humanity. By the way the fixture I purchase is gorgeous.

I went to the Habitat for Humanity re store and found great sinks for a relatively modest cost. They were used but in perfect condition. The store clerks were all very helpful and took the time to assist me.
I was surprised by all the fantastic new and used household products they had. I will definately return frequently to verify stock as it changes often.
