As new home buyers we were understandably nervous about buying a new home and from the moment we stepped into the showhome, we were put at ease by our sales representative at the time, Walt. He really encouraged us to take our time and did not put an ounce of pressure on us. He was very thorough and thoughtful in answering our questions and did not hound us once when we took a month of to reconsider our prospects.
After deciding to purchase, we were happily surprised with Stepper's above-and-beyond customer service, such as the "wet chinchilla" pantry glass that was thrown in by Stepper and Walt's extra details on the paperwork to make sure our changes were seen by the construction crew (even though we were purchasing a spec home).
During construction we had a few changes to our reps (new sales rep, new site supervisor), but this did not change the quality of our home build. Jared, our site supervisor, even took some time during the christmas break to give us a house tour when we were too excited to wait. And Josh has been a delight - he always has some new insight about the neighbourhood or new homeowner tips!
Lastly, our warranty rep, Jorge, has so far been very responsive to any concerns we had (including two small basement leaks that were fixed within 24-48 hours) and we look forward to continuing to work with him should any new issues pop up (as is to be expected in any new build!)
