I bought a house from Morningstar and we will move in 2 months time. So far I had very good experience with the salesman who is very nice and patient and professional about his job. I wish him all the best in his life.

Please inspect all work done on your home. We bought an AC rough in ($3000) from Morningstars when we bought our home 2014. When we finally went to install an AC system 2022 we were told by 3 different installers that our pipes were bent on the exterior and interior of our home. They were not able able to confirm if the pipes were bent behind the walls but its probably safe to say the same workmanship is there as well. The pipes should not have been bent but rather welded otherwise the system wont work. We now have to re-install the entire system at our cost again. When I reached out to Morningstar and provided them photos of the bent pipes and missing electrical wires they dismissed me saying that it passed inspection and the damage was probably done by me. As if I would damage the pipes so I could pay more money for another install? No sense whatsoever. Be very careful with this company, they will end up taking your money and blame you for builders issues. They didnt even send someone out to inspect after I told them of the issues. We are very happy with our Morning star home! We purchased in 2017 and are very impressed with the quality and attention to detail of Morning star and the companys communication after our purchase when a couple issues came up which were covered under our warranty. My wife and I would highly reccomend.

Bought new home- over 34 deficiencies during walk thru, poor customer service to resolve the deficiencies. calls not returned. 4 months into living there and deficiencies are still not complete- lots of push back from morningstar representative to get the work done. Have arranged time for work to be completed by morningstar and they have not shown up.

Bought a Morningstar home and in less then 7 years the wood retaining walls and stairs have failed. It’s going to cost us $6500 to replace. Morningstar is aware there product failed and they won’t do anything about it. A retaining wall and stairs should not fail after 6 - 7 years.

we brought this home brand new from morning star, many defective issues need to be fixed, the bathroom leaked at the first day we move in, they fixed the tube but refused to replace the soaked counter which was damaged because of the water leaking. The pathway concrete have a few cracks before we move in, and they refuse to fix it. They told us everything otherside the house is not under warranty. We were so upset about this customer service. We filled up the cracks ourself but it get worse year after year, we have asked other company to quote for the repair, and they told us it is because of the settles and will cost $3500 to replace or $1200 to repair. The bathroom leaks again after just 3 years new and we did not notice the water leaking until we saw the water penetration on the ceiling in our living room. We pay $450 to fix the bathroom and also need to repaint the ceiling because of the water marks. We have brought 5 houses before , all brand new with different builders, but this house is a nightmare to us which the builders refuse to fix the problems at the first day. We are still stuggling on the defected concrete pathway which cost us too much to repair. :(

We bought a house from Morningstar in 2010 and we are so happy with our purchase. The home was ready on the date promised and the follow up to deficiences was amazing. We are so happy we purchased with a reputable builder!

We have purchased a home from them and so have our in-laws and friends. The architecture is great and they follow up. We were very impressed with their final product as well as their services. We would recommend to friends and family. They were professional and friendly.

If anyone is looking to buy a place, morningstar homes delivers! We are very pleased with our choice and we chose morningstar because of Randy. He was very personable and helpful in every way. He made you feel at ease throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Morningstar if you're looking to buy a new home.

Morningstar sold us our first home and it was not a good experience. Customer service was very poor, I called 10 times and it took a long time to have someone come to our home and look at the problem. We took possession at the end of December and by the time we moved in in January we still didn't have a microwave and other basic needs. We are still waiting for external painting to be done as well as some landscaping. The master ensuite was not done properly, we had special ordered a door but it was not installed and it took a huge hassle to try and get it fixed...we had to call a lawyer. Eventually we had to write a letter to the president of Morningstar Homes to get the problem fixed.
