I made the unfortunate mistake of going with a big, local company who I hoped a) knew what they were doing, and b) would stand behing their product and installation.
In the end, I was left with a system which was not installed or connected correctly, duct work that was poorly installed and required extensive rework to seal leaks and provide proper air flow, and bills from other sub-contractors to fix items that Yanch damaged while on site.
To top everything, the dealer refused to honor any warranty at all and I was left with a non-functional heating system in November, two months after installation.
They had no idea what they were doing, and the owners care VERY little about customer service or satisfaction. If you take them to task, they will leave you hanging out to dry at the first opportunity.
Thankfully, I found another dealer who will honor the manufacturers warranty and they actually know what they are doing.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!
- Approximate cost of services:
- $20,000.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Complete management change and the owners should retire and go into a business that doesn't have customers.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Make sure they know what they are doing. Ask for, and check references.
