windows glass replaced after warranty.

My name is Mike Eikosidekas from Mississauga Ontario. (L4z 1t9).I hired my former neighbor
To install Miranda windows in my residence in
2001.The window's glass carried a ten year warranty.
Liz from Miranda replaced the Glass of 22 windows after the warranty had expired.
She only charged me a very small amount to cover a fraction of the labor.
Although I didn't have a written warranty,
Liz agreed to replace all the Windows.
Siva who installed the Glass is an excellent worker.
Miranda is the best windows and doors manufacturer in North America.
I strongly recommend Miranda doors & windows.
Thank you Liz.

front door

Such a bad experience. Paul Miranda is unreliable and unprofessional. We ordered a front door at the beginning of September and were told 5-6 weeks. After 6 weeks and many messages left for Paul, the contractor drove to the vendor to find out that they hadn't even started on the door. I can only assume by the shoddy final product that it was a rush job at that point. After my contractor went to pick up the door and called me in disgust, Paul Miranda said the door is perfect the casing isn't he will fix it but i will love the door. I didn't trust him because of the photos sent to members Paul rudely and dismissively gave me no other option but to take the door. It is now November, I have a 2 week old baby and no front door. When the door was installed it was obvious that it didn't fit the space. The door frame and glass frame don't match, the door frame isn't symmetrical, the right side of the frame tapers to the floorand the left side is straight. The door handle is 80cm fro. The floor. It looks hhorrible and this is the first impression of my house. We did a $40,000 renovation on the front of our house and now we have a shoddy poorly constructed front door. When we called Paul to complain he said we had to unistall the door and he would sell it to someone else. I can't imagine anyone paying $3500 for this poor quality workmanship. I also need a front door, not a big hole in my wall. Paul Miranda should offer to remake the door and replace the one we have when it is finished so we don't freeze all winter. He should stand behind what he sells and not yell and try to bully his clients. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I wish we dealt with Tony maybe we would have treated better and have better product.

Purchased windows/door through our GC

We purchased three very large windows and one front door from Miranda, installed by our GC. One window had custom art glass - Miranda's contact for the art glass was excellent but after repeated attempts to get Miranda (Liz was our contact) to send sketches we gave up and accepted what was installed even though it did not match our request. Another window had to be replaced twice because Miranda kept providing the wrong size window. Our door installation was a disaster. We were given the impression there were two colours to choose from - we chose one and the door manufacturer produced a disgusting brown stain colour. We requested that it be corrected or replaced. After 6 months of waiting (from date of purchase) we cancelled our order and went with another supplier. One of our windows has since failed to stay up when open and we have waited over 3 weeks for Miranda to come and fix it (it is still under warranty). I find the contact at Miranda to be quite rude and dismissive to customers and consistently forgot instructions from us (she didn't write them down). I highly suggest not working with this supplier. If you choose to work with them, ensure all of your communications are in writing and possibly work with someone other than Liz.
