Two kitchen windows installed by Centra. The windows themselves look nice, but we had problems with communication, and a lack of responsiveness on their part. Any response from them took several follow-up emails over a period of several weeks to month.
(1) We had agreed to a large interior window ledge and a an exterior lip over the window (to prevent rain from dripping onto it) at the time of purchase. Neither item was installed with the windows. When we brought this to the installers attention he said that it was not written on his form. We contacted the company and after several follow-ups, had someone come to look at it. They said that it was too late to install either item, but that the best they could do was 'nail a board onto the ledge to make it bigger'.
(2) We we not sent a receipt or invoice showing that the windows had been paid in full. Four months after the windows were installed and paid for, we sent a request for the invoice. It took them over 4 weeks to provide it to us, requiring two additional follow-up emails.
(3) We were surprised to learn that the windows we purchased did not qualify for a government home efficiency rebate. We were informed of this fact months after the windows were installed and we received the invoice. They informed us that the windows did not have the right glaze on them to qualify only after we noted that this is why we needed the invoice. They had not mentioned this at the time of purchase. In the product demonstrations they simply touted how energy efficient the windows were and that the glazes they used were top quality.
