I chose to replace all 20 windows in my 1980 house in December 2019, yes, in the rainy, cold weather of a normal Victoria winter. It was an excellent experience!
Centra Windows Victoria provided an outstanding service from its introduction to me at the Home Show, to the immediate follow-up the next week by Joe, salesman extraordinaire. Throughout the process, from ordering, delivery, installation, and clean-up, service was well-planned, carefully executed, and very well managed. Particularly, Elijah proved an amazing site manager/supervisor/installer. He kept me informed regularly, increased his team size to ensure the work was completed on time, and awed me with his uncanny ability to run 6 installers so that they weren't in each other's way, ever! Thanks to Konnor, Riley, Ryan, Franco, and Derek for a job well done. And to Joe and Chris for their services, as well as to the accounting staff. And timely? 20 windows removed, installed, and trimmed in 3.5 days. Awesome.
I especially appreciate that the window installation was undertaken in such a way that I could continue working all day, and that my cat could remain undisturbed (and wouldn't escape to the great outdoors). Windows were replaced one room at a time, so that nowhere was ever cold or exposed for very long. Clean-up occurred as every window was completed with a general cleaning when all windows were completely installed. Really, the house was so clean that I managed to forget the usual drudgery for a week.
Old windows were removed from site and disposed. New trim was installed on the interior and exterior, freshening the look of the house immensely. Care was taken to seal and insulate all window openings, to avoid water penetration and air leakage. For our coldest two months, I have already achieved an 18% savings compared with an average of the last 5 years' hydro use. This was a job worth doing.
