My Self Storage No Longer In Business

I stored here for 3 months it's was great I liked the mailing service they have I was moving to a new home and this helped me out a lot.

Every single person gives you different price and when you go then you never get the price which you been told. Worst company ever. Nancy is the manager and she doesnt even have any customer service skills. They were not willing to pay my deposit and then she said let me talk with my boss let me call in 24hrs. Now it is been more than 240hrs no call. When I call receptionist make excuse she is not in office, in meeting, will call etc. If you are right then have courteous to talk lady. I am just asking show me anything in WRITING it is stated that DON't GIVE DEPOSIT BACK. Nothing (she said its rules) hello how would customer know the rules? did you ever tell me or it is notice hanging in office or in my receipt NO.
NEVER GO TO THEM

this company was taken over by a new management, who started charging me regular 'late' fees even though I wasn't and then complained about how they had to call me to let me know when my bill was due. Worst company ever

The Bramalea Yellow Self Storage is a very well maintained and clean storage facility. We rented a 5X5 small, basic unit in December 2010 and have just vacated the unit in October this year. This small storage unit we rented was free of odors regardless of the weather conditions. At the beginning we had some concerns about keeping mattresses in basic/non air conditioned units; it was good to find out that they came out odorless after nearly a year.
The Treffers

1- Item collected half an inch of dust and dirt in five months. Upon complaint, the guy at the front desk paid no attention to the issue and gave the option to either leave after full payment or keep the storage in
"as it is" condition.
2- Few days later after the complaint, they sent a letter of rent increase.

A company great in ripping off customers while operated by rude and bad tempered staff.

This is a badly managed and greedy company. Got charges from yellow storage twice on the credit card which they denied making. Had to dispute in order to get them removed.Be careful when it comes to money matters. They will charge for even "nothing".

Terrible experience, damaged furniture, dishonest and customer service after the fact was terrible, they claimed that they couldn't receive my pictures and made me send them 4 times and it wasn't until I told them that I would personally drop them off at the office that they said, oh now I received them.

I would not recommend them to anyone!!

Double in price, held furniture hostage in truck until I gave them money, threatend to damage all my furniture if I didn't leave them alone, as they didn't deal with women, our class was below them! Called head office to complain, the man told me where to go and how to get there. Sent letter to Better Business Bureau.

I used Yellow moving and storage for a move from Orillia to Toronto. The details of the move were clearly defined ahead of time and the hourly rate agreed to in advance. But after they loaded our stuff they said they needed the credit card. When they were done they charged $120.00 more than the agreed upon price. Aside from that they took nearly 3.5 hrs to get from Orillia to Toronto adding a full hour to the cost. So in the end they charged more than more reputable companies. The approach was well thought out and practiced. They don't accept Mastercard because Mastercard will withold payment. I was stupid to fall for that one.
