Nationwide Carpet Cleaning

I had a terrible experience with this company. I used Nationwide to clean the carpets in my empty apartment. The carpets are beige "berber" carpets. We are not sure what the technician has done but after the carpets were cleaned, *large* portions of it are now a dark yellow as if the entire carpet is now stained and/or discoloured. Moreover, the carpets looked significantly worse after they were steam cleaned. We called the company back and told them about our problem. At this point we were upset about the result of the work but we had hoped that this company would fix the issue... Nope.. We were told by Nationwide that the state of the carpets after the cleaning work was done (I remind you that the carpets were in MUCH worse shape than before the cleaning was done) was completely our fault. Furthermore, we were told anything from "there was vomit everywhere" to "it's what happens when you walk barefoot on the carpet" as the reasons for the yellow stains. We asked for a manager to visit the unit but we couldn't get anyone. Finally we were able to convince them to send us one of their techs. He came once, tried to spray the stains but couldn't help much. He promised then to come back and never did... twice. We will be calling this company to get our money back and will never use them and/or recommend them to anyone else.

I've used this company several times over the years, and in different cities. I know what to expect - prompt service, extra effort to get out the tough stains, and a thorough job throughout. While I sometimes go with others (just to compare), I know that Nationwide will do the job right, at a very reasonable price.

When Terry from Pure Gold first called me almost 20 years ago, I didn't need my carpets cleaned but I told him of a stain that had just happened. He asked to come and try to remove it, for free, which he did within the next week. I was so impressed with this service, I began using him for my annual carpet cleaning. The results are perfect every time. Terry is so professional, friendly, reliable and does all of the work himself. I have recommended him to many friends, all of whom have been just as impressed.

Called Nationwide from a flyer I received in one of those co-op mailings. Talked to a very nice agent named Francis who was very professional and explained everything I needed to know. Booked appointment for the following day as I wanted to get everything done before Christmas as we were having visitors from overseas. Bob arrived at the scheduled time and completed all the work that I requested. He did a great job and replaced all the items he moved to do the work. I am very happy with this company and will use them again in the future.

This comany was recommended by a relative. We had them clean the living, dining, familyroom and one bedroom. They did a good job but were not able to get rid of every stain. They offer a 2 year price freeze in which they'll provde this same service over the next two years for as many times as you need for the exact same cost, which is good. We'd use them again or recommend them.

This company really emphasises it's customer service. Everyone there knew how to answer all of my questions, and were actully willing to explain anything out in full detail. The technician that came to my home was very friendly, and worked on Every spot on my carpets. They were very reasonably priced (not the highest or lowest) and well worth it. My carpets are 10 years old and now look brand new!
