Our architect commended this company as we decided on a steel roof with a 50 year warranty. This company was professional to deal with were accommodating to changes to our dates and showed up when they said and did a great job. They respected the job site, did a careful job and cleaned up when they were done. I recommend everyone to consider a steel roof over shingles and highly recommend New steel Roofers, they willingly come to Toronto from Hamilton!

New Steel Roofers took out the old roof and despite some rainy weather managed to keep us dry during the installation of our new roof. We are very happy. Thank you.

We had a new steel roof installed this summer by New Steel Roofers. I definitely recommend New Steel Roofers for anyone installing a new steel roof. They were very helpful, sent someone to my house twice to show samples and make decisions, and the cost was the price quoted with zero surprises. The installation crew worked very hard and installed professionally and cleanly. Highly recommend!

The roof looks good, and time will tell how the quality holds up. My main gripe is that I was told it would be 3-4 weeks to install. I indicated I was in a rush because I had a leak, and they told me no problem, they'd put a rush on it. My roof was installed 6-7 weeks later instead, and made it feel like a bait and switch. Communication on timing was not great, and I had to ask for updates, with responses days later. After the roof was installed, I had to pick up dozens of scrap shingles in my yard. Overall, we're satisfied with the final product, but not with the way it was sold to us, and the service & communication could have been better. That said, we had quotes and interactions with many other roofing companies, and from lack of insurance, to mis-representing the products that were being sold, there are a lot of companies out there which are not quite honest. The price quoted was what they said it would be, everything was official, with insurance, quotes and taxes. Finally, they were helpful in answering some follow up questions on installation specifics, so overall I would recommend them to friends, with a caveat to get timelines for installation written into the contract up front.

Contacted 9 different metal roof mfrs/contractor. Most did not meet our requirements,ie; Too Industrial looking, Too shiny etc.
The METSTAR Slate MF Plus installed really enhanced home appearance.

Decided to replace my old shingle roof with a new steel roof using black slate tiles from Metstar. The roof looks good once installed. The job was completed within 3 days and was placed over the original shingles with a membrane going over the main roof and an additional membrane going over the valley area. New flashing around the chimney, plumbing vent stacks and exhaust hood vents were installed. Also the great thing about this system of roof is they install a ridge vent instead of sticking with the old traditional box vent system. The job site was always left cleaned and all communication from getting the quote up to completion was very professional.

I would defiantly install another steel roof and I would use New Steel Roofers again without any hesitations.

The guys worked hard for 3 full long days to complete a new Metstar Slate series roof for our 10 year old home. The roof looks great and we are looking forward to the future of not having to worry about shingles that don't last. House seems cooler on hot days. Thanks New Steel Roofers.
