Piano Movers

During the move of the piano from my mother's house to mine, the movers put a hole in a newly painted wall. There is no doubt that the movers knew of the damage they caused but said nothing about it at the time.

Upon contacting the manager of the company, I got the run-around with promises to "look into it". Weeks went by without any word from the company. As I grew more frustrated with their silence, my emails became (in their words) "condescending". In other words, they never had any intention of fixing their damage and looked for the first excuse to make me the bad guy and bail on their responsibilities.

Can they move a piano from A to B? Sure, but they don't mind doing some unwanted "renovations" to your home in the process.

piano move

This was a very difficult move. A heavy older upright down a series of three flights of starers and then another flight of stairs with a narrow entry point. I was a little disappointed that they charged me a flat fee for going 6 meters in the truck, however you can't have it all. The piano is now resting in m living room in one piece.

Piano Move

I had the same experience as the other disatisfied reviewer. I was waiting for piano movers to arrive for a whole day (even though I was told they would come within a 1-hour window). They eventually showed up at the end of the day, short of the required equipment and manpower. I was told they would return early the next day to finish the job but again they showed up four hours later than what they said.

To confuse the issue a different company showed up - they were called something else.

Also, the price went up by $100 when the price quoted on the phone was $250. The person I was dealing with suggested that I had misunderstood but there was no misunderstanding as I had gotten him to repeat the price and had written it down.

Overall a terrible experience and I would not recommend.

Piano moving

The manager gave a reasonable quote & was able to book my move in less than a week's notice. The movers arrived right on time, and were very professional. They did the move quickly and with no damage to the piano or to property. I would definitely hire them again.

Piano Moving

We hired McNally to move a piano between a relative's house and mine. They were quick, efficient, showed up on time and overall did a great job.

I'd definitely recommend them and use them in the future - although I'm not looking forward to moving in the near future.

Piano movers

I hired this company to move several musical instruments. First communication was pleasant, but that changed quickly. They had a 3 hour window to show up at the pickup and finish between scheduled events. The property manager had to show up on a day he usually does not work, and McNally movers were late! They also showed up at the drop off location late. The were given specific details to the nature of the drop off and when they got there claimed they did not have the man power to do the job. Had to call over people to help them complete their job. Not only that, not all instruments in the agreement were picked up. Upon talking to the owner Ken McNally about picking up the missed instruments, he became very vulgar and rude on the phone and claimed the instruments were not in contract. That is nonsense since he was given very specific details on the amount of instruments and adjusted his price accordingly prior to the move. Eventually they did deliver the remaining instruments.

I am a professional in the music industry and have personally witnessed many instrument moves. I thought I would give McNally Piano Movers a try. Never again. Save your money and stress. Go with a more reputable mover.
