Moved my Grand Upright Piano

Although my piano was huge and very heavy and my door was really narrow with a weird setback, you still managed to maneuver it into my living room! I am impressed - takes a lot of skill and experience to be able to pull that off ! You are professional and also honest - Thank you Ken . So glad we engaged your service and I will recommend you to all my friends for sure.

Smoothest piano move for a difficult task

McNally Piano Movers were great. I called them last minute for a move before my lease ended and they managed to find a time slot that worked for deadline despite being booked up. They called me in the morning as promised and arrived an hour later - promptly. My piano was moved out of my basement that took 13 steps onto my new home that required them to go through a narrow parking lot and above a 5 step porch. They completed the whole move in 30 minutes - impressive. The overall distance between the two places was a couple of blocks.

Company Response

Thank you so much for the kind words. After some problems with outsourcing to another company I've decided to do all the moves personally and it's always nice to have a customer that understands and appreciates our efforts.
Thanks again,
Ken

Piano Move

After booking a move with Ken, he sub-contracted the job without my knowledge or consent. They damaged both my piano and floor. Ken initially told me that he would take full responsibility, but then abruptly changed his story and said that the damage was pre-existing (despite clear evidence to the contrary). He asked me to file a claim with his insurer, who (after thinking about it for 2 months) refused to pay because the damage was done by the other company and not him. When I followed up with Ken for payment after getting refused by his insurer, he accused me of extortion and harassment, then cut off communication.

Additionally, he moved my treadmill on a separate day, yelled at me in front of my guests and neighbors because he was unable to complete the move, then left me stranded with my treadmill in my backyard. (To be fair, he didn't charge me for it.)

Company Response

You've been dishonest from the beginning of our dealings and you're being dishonest now. I've had to contact the police due to your harassment and bullying! You're an opportunist trying to take advantage by trying to have us repair a pre-existing damage on a badly beat up piano and that's why the insurance company said no. Now that you've been denied you're trying to attack my reputation so I will be seeking legal representation to address this.

piano move

When moving pianos you have to use a company that knows what they are doing. Ken and is crew make it look easy but it's not.

Good communication up to delivery date and arrived during timeframe we were told. Move went very smooth and super fast.

These guys know what they are doing! Highly recommend Ken and his crew.

When the Canadian Red Cross required our piano moved from our Toronto office to our Scarborough Drop In centre, we looked no further than McNally Piano Movers. Ken and his team were excellent from start to finish. The moving team was respectful, worked quickly and efficiently. Everyone involved in the transportation of our piano displayed professionalism throughout the move and took great care. We are greatly appreciative of their time and efforts. Thank you so much Sarah, that's very kind. I'm lucky enough to be in the position to help out from time to time and the reaction we received upon delivery was certainly thanks enough.

Piano Moving

Very good experience dealing with McNally Piano Movers. Owner / operator Ken McNally did the move himself giving me the security that the name of the company was the one doing the work. They were quick, efficient and fairly priced with the other quotes that I got.

piano move

These guys picked up and delivered a piano for me in August 2014, they were super helpful at both ends of the move - on time, efficient, no mess, no unnecessary stuff to do, paid on delivery with credit card. Would highly recommend them to anyone. I spent a long time trying to find someone to move this piano and in the end realised that only a piano mover should move a piano!

Company Response

You're an organization that makes a difference so we were happy to donate a move but when I saw the piano that was being donated, I couldn't let that piano come to you, it was completely destroyed. It was our pleasure to donate a piano to your awesome kids and I hope they get years of use out of it. Let me know when it needs tuned and I'll send a technician around to take care of it at no charge.
