No after purchase customer care for when things go wrong
I would give zero stars if I could. First off the sales associate gave me incorrect info about the appliance and when I emailed him after he asked me how could be expected to know as they sell "thousands of appliances". Also, my fridge was delivered without the screw assembly kit and I have been talking to CAS for the last three weeks to try and get one sent out. Finally I called electrolux again today and was told it will be several more weeks. CAS is doing nothing to help me or give me a quick exchange so that I don't have to have a fridge without handles for two months.
They then finally sent me parts but they were the incorrect parts (wrong size) and only sent 2 when clearly there are 3 handles requiring 4 parts each. Now they keep saying I have to deal with electrolux directly and they cannot do an exchange or expedite the parts to me. This company is terrible. I think the only way they could get good reviews is if you're lucky enough to have your appliance delivered intact - but the real test of a company is their customer service when something goes wrong. The sales associate (Ahmed from Scarborough) has not replied to my emails and all I get are generic replies from customer service saying the parts and services department has been contacted and I need to wait to hear. I would purchase these parts elsewhere if I could but they are not available at regular stores or on amazon or parts places. It is maddening. They don't care - I spent over 3K on a fridge a month ago and still don't have the parts to complete its assembly. Do not go here. From now on I will only purchase from Costco or the Bay or a larger department store where they take customer service seriously. Just before this fridge I had ordered one from Costco but it turned out the online measuresments were incorrect - when I called Costco they immediately sent someone to pick it up - no questions asked. Meanwhile CAS has done nothing to correct this issue and won't even allow me to return it until Electrolux contacts me and arranges tocome and do an inspection of the fridge. This company is horrible. They want to sell you an appliance and then have nothing to do with any issues that arise. Stay away!!
